Normally, a person’s faith should and would have nothing to do with anything. Except when that person insists in imposing that faith on anyone who doesn’t wish to be imposed upon. There are reports out of Houston that Easterby has done that by insisting that people coming into his office to address various issues, kneel and pray to gain insight into resolution of those issues. That is wrong on several levels.

A Few Thoughts About The Alabama Draft Class.....

And here I thought you didn’t list him because you didn’t want to give the Bills any ideas about drafting one in the first round. -

I note the glaring absence of any CBs listed in your analysis. Hmm. -

Easterby might be out sooner than we might think. Stay tuned. -
While the NHL needs to provide better testing and monitoring like the NBA, there is nothing they can do about the actual conditions they play in; namely cold and enclosed playing surfaces. Just today there was an editorial in the BN citing an epidemiologist in Minnesota who has had concerns that the cold air that surrounds the ice surface can trap viral droplets. Teams are removing the glass behind their benches to provide additional ventilation as well. And yeah, this season is a mess and odds are that it won’t be completed before a serious interruption.

Another thing Al Davis was that Jerry Jones never was or will be, is a bonafide football man. Davis had an intimate understanding of every facet of the game.

That 31 3/4” arm length precludes Oliver from playing the position. It really is that simple.

I agree entirely that we haven’t been able to win many games in recent years, in regulation or otherwise. My only point is that aside from a handful of teams separating themselves from the pack, the number of regulation wins among teams is closer than we might suspect. And two teams ahead of us in the standings, the Penguins and Bruins, have one less and only one more, respectively, regulation wins with thru 10 games. Great point about regulation wins being key this year. Every game is divisional game, thus a four point game, and these three point games are gonna screw some teams before it’s over.
-
Boston has just 3 regulation wins and Pittsburgh only has 1 so far this year in their 10 games played. There really isn’t all that much disparity in the number of regulation wins for most teams so far.

Montour and Rieder added to the COVID list for a total of four Sabres so far. Devils are up to 17 in the protocol. I expect more Sabres will be added soon enough. I also suspect other teams are gonna go through similar travails. No pun intended, but this NHL season is on thin ice moving forward. I doubt it will be completed without a major shutdown before hand.
-
Well that sucks. I think the Sabres have a legitimate gripe against the Devils and the league because the Devils never should have been allowed to play over the weekend. I’m certain that Matt Irwin is safe though, because he never got close enough to a Devils player to catch the virus.

Schematically? Nothing, really. Although Reid’s own schemes pressure opposing DCs schematically, there are always ways to matchup the Xs and Os. The most limiting factor is the sheer mismatch in elite physical talent that they have, especially at the QB position. I’d venture to say that Mahomes, Kelce, and Hill are ALL better at their positions than anyone we have on defense is at theirs. Elite talent always trumps schemes. And any coach will tell you that. Throw in additional good talent like Hardman and Watkins when he’s healthy, and it’s almost unfair. That said, I like Tampa’s front seven, especially their LBs who are athletic in their own right, so it’s gonna be interesting to see how they approach things.
-
While maybe not the sheer physical force of Gronk, Kelce is infinitely more intelligent on the field. I realize that’s not saying much relative to Gronk’s mental aptitude for the game, but Kelce has a refined understating that most players don’t possess.

I know I wouldn’t like it if when I went into his office he would proselytize and demand that we pray together as reports have indicated. That is some serious tone deaf work-place bullcrap. I don’t know how anyone can function in that kind of environment. -
Tony Romo agrees with you as he said this repeatedly during the telecast. Problem is, Kelce is the least of the evils that KC presents. Kelce is less apt to beat you on a quick, long chunk play vs. Hill and their other options, so the idea is to make KC earn it more with Kelce. But, good luck with that. Nobody has done that with any consistency since Mahomes took the reins.

Lucky to get a point after that craptastic display. Totally unprepared to play a ranger team that kicked our assess in the 3rd period on Tuesday and who you knew were gonna come out of the gate hard tonight. Perhaps the boys were reading their recent press clippings. Anyway, the entire team, save Ullmark was not ready to play. I’m looking at you Ralph.

I’d like to see the team we lost to whip Tampa Bay worse than they whipped us. Plus, KC is an original AFL team, so they get my support on that score as well.
-
Sure, redshirting him a year would have been great...if he had Hill, Kelce, Hunt, and two Pro Bowl tackles waiting for him. Instead, Allen had NO receivers and a putrid O line.
-
Who are you referring to as being almost done with his rookie deal? Tre was extended before the season and Oliver isn’t even halfway through his rookie deal. Are you and Kwai San referring to someone else? Because I can’t ascertain that from your reply to his post about Tre and Oliver.

That’s right, Stefan. Soak that in and remember the sting of it all. It’s what competitors do.
