  1. Only one thing worries me; the Patriots running rough shod over our crap run defense. I’ve seen Bellyache scheme 200 yards plus with worse O lines against better Bills fronts. We don’t stop their run game, we have little chance, imo.
  2. If the plan is to go into Foxboro, we have some serious issues because the game is in Orchard Park.
  3. Genetic predisposition.
  4. Shocked. But not surprised in the least. If there is one thing McBeane has demonstrated since they’ve been here, it’s a ZERO tolerance for attitude problems. Demoted players have two options: work your ass off to get back to being a starter or sulk. Spain chose the latter. Good riddance.
  5. Perhaps, but it is exactly like telling a certain team that you don’t want to play for them, something Kelly did before and after he was drafted.
  6. You will NEVER see Josh Allen doing this:
  7. Fair points, all. But regardless, our defense hasn’t played particularly well all year, pass or run, and I’ve adjusted my expectations accordingly. And until we actually win a game against Bellyache, I won’t be convinced we are anything more than two annual automatic wins for the Pats***. Pains me to say it.
  8. I’m as optimistic as can be, but if we continue to be a sieve against the run, Belichick will scheme another 200 plus yards against our defense like he’s done numerous times in the past. If we don’t fix it, I can’t see us beating the Pats***...again. And I won’t even mention the other teams we have on the schedule.
  9. And then reality set in. Let’s face it, we are a few players away from being able to run with the big dogs. Expectations have been reset. Given what we’ve seen from this defense to date, I no longer think we have what it takes to win the division and we will be hard pressed to win a wild card spot as well. Unfortunately, the problems on defense aren’t fixable schematically because scheme doesn’t matter when you can’t avoid getting your ass handed to you on a play to play basis. If good Josh doesn’t show up, we have no chance on offense, either.
  10. I do. But seeing as I’m not restrained, I’ll just say I couldn’t feel worse for a terrific young player like Devin Bush, but I couldn’t care less for Lewan, one of the league’s true douche bags.
  11. Problem with Spain is that he has struggled with pass protection, which is why he was benched. Watch the Miami game again and you’ll see he almost got Josh killed several times. So, what’s the lesser of two evils: Ford’s run blocking or Spain’s pass blocking? Factoring in the importance of Josh’s health, I think it’s the former. Mongo can’t return soon enough.
  12. Same here. Ended much too soon.
  13. San Francisco ####sucker!
  14. I’m guessing Josh Allen is a ‘Peaky Blinders’ fan.
  15. I got yer running game Wu right here:
  16. Josh Allen was predicted by some to be selected first overall BEFORE his last college season; before most of us even had him on the radar. So no, I don’t think he changed the way QB prospects are scouted. Here’s an SI article from May 2017. https://vault.si.com/vault/2017/05/15/no-one-no-1

I can appreciate that. Let me know what you think of the new season.
  18. Allen’s “bad” game wasn’t all that “bad.” It’s actually a good sign that in a game in which he was forced to be patient and take what the defense was giving him, he was able to move the ball up and down the field most of the night.

After one of the worst series finales in the history of television, I’m not on board at all. If word of mouth says to give it a try, I might be persuaded.
  20. Back home, we gotta taxidermy man who’s gonna have a heart attack when he sees what I brung ‘em.
  21. Phew! Glad he went to KC. I wanted no part of that loser in Buffalo.
  22. One of the GOAT at his position. RIP.
  23. I might quibble with this because when I think “legit” blowout, I usually associate that with being dominated both physically and statistically and that just wasn’t the case Tuesday night. Taking nothing away from the Titans who certainly deserved it, but the game hinged on a few critical plays and blowouts just don’t look like that imo. Still looks like a big fat L in the loss column, regardless.
