    I wonder; are the fans of the 30 other teams that didn’t select Metcalf so full of regret as well? The simple fact is that the vast majority of great players are never gonna play for your favorite team and constantly lamenting that fact just makes it that much more difficult to enjoy your own team. We can appreciate and marvel at the amazing players we didn’t take all the same.

    I can’t agree with that. Imagine the two most popular teams in the league playing in that 5pm EDT Monday slot. Now imagine the Bills vs anyone in the prime time 8pm slot. The Bills game would blow away the earlier game in the ratings. Hell, reruns of Gilligans Island in the prime time slot would blow away a 5pm EDT football game.

    It’s ironic that the reason the league decided on two bye weeks in the first place was to maximize viewing opportunities for the networks.

    For some reason that seems like it can’t be true, but the Rams were really the only team to run in us. Must be because we went six+ quarters without forcing a punt.

    Funny how the PFFs of the world just can’t quantify that aspect of the position. They think QB = passer and they couldn’t be more clueless on the matter. But it’s nice to know they can tell us who throws the prettiest incomplete passes.

    The only trouble I’m having with it is wondering if/when the Bills themselves will have trouble with it. Learning to win is a real thing as the weight of higher expectations starts to creep in.

    In his first start vs. the Chargers when he dragged Melvin Ingram for several yards while rolling out and still got the pass off.
