The rule is a half can’t end on a defensive penalty. -

Why would you be considered elite while your peers wouldn’t be? -

Not at all. He sounds more like a QB who realizes that they haven’t finished the job yet and is staying focused on the task at hand. Even keel. A great trait for a QB to have. -

Yes. But not as elite as Trent Dilfer or Jim McMahon. -

Agreed. And it was obvious when McD pulled the starters with over 10 minutes to play. At first I was miffed we didn’t try to hang a 50 burger on them, but then quickly realized it was the right thing to do. -

He means the Chiefs have won their last seven games by an average of 3.85 points per game. -

Josh may be right that not many receivers can make that catch, but I don’t think there are more than two other QBs who can make that throw. It was a terrific catch by Diggs, but it was an otherworldly throw by Allen. He seems to have one of those every week where my jaw just drops in amazement. We just can’t take that for granted.- 453 replies

Shocked and surprised. When you look at the historical data of intra-divisional games, blowouts are the exception. And I honestly wasn’t expecting us to make it look so easy against that defense. Yeah, I know Gilmore was out, etc., but still, Josh carved them up all night because Bellyache had ZERO answers on the D side of the ball. Zero. None. Zilch. Nada. Never so happy to be so wrong about a pregame prediction of a close game. -

That might be a tall order with all the double coverage he will see tonight. -

I’m surprised at all the “Bills in a romp” predictions all week. I’d be shocked if that were the case. I suspect this will be a typically tight contest between two intimately acquainted opponents that know each other inside out. This is usually the case with intra-divisional games around the league. I fully expect us to win because we are the more talented team from top to bottom, but I suspect I won’t be relaxing much during the course of the game. -

Rogers has been better, but he is no more important to his team than Allen. Imagine Barkley playing a ton of snaps this season instead of Allen. Fugly doesn’t begin to describe it. -
Look, the most seasoned scouts get it wrong much if the time. It happens. But I much prefer an admission of a mistake after the fact, that someone who takes credit for a correct prediction in hindsight.

I believe he is the same guy. Merloni is a sports media personality in the Boston area.

Jerry gettin’ jiggy. That’s priceless.

Cincinnati O line really does a great job of selling run action. You do that all night and it sets up that play later on. -

It’s a shame, too, because his receivers have been open all night. -
The Jets blew the first overall pick? How was it for Trevor Lawrence?
