NFL off-season cuts/tags/ free agency ( non Bills)
frostbitmic replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall
I read something this week that the Steelers were in touch with the Jaguars, inquiring about Trevor Lawrence. How true or not that is TBD. There's going to be a lot of smoke and mirrors for the next couple of months. -
NFL announces Chargers will be the home team week 1 in Brazil
frostbitmic replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sucks for the Chargers as Bills fans know. Having to give up a home game is unfair to the team having to do so. To balance everything out, the league needs to play 16 International games a year. Then every team would have 8 home games, 8 away games and 1 neutral site game a year. -
Free Agents we like for the 2025 Bills?
frostbitmic replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
My FA X-Mas list ... Justin Simmons - FS - Falcons ... Spotrac has him at $5.8M per on a 3 yr contract ... He is 31 Jeff Okudah - CB - Texans ... Spotrac has him at $5M per. He's been hurt a lot but was an overall #3 pick in the draft so there is or was talent there. He's only 26 and maybe McDermott could coach him up. Then again, in McD's Defense he might just get killed. A high risk signing to be sure but could be high reward and his contract could be worked to protect the Bills. Best to draft a CB early as well. Tershawn Wharton - DL - Chiefs ... Figure about 3 years and $22.5M = $7.5 per year. He's either a big DE or smaller DT but signing him helps us and hurts the Chiefs. I think Wharton lined up outside next to Oliver could be very disruptive. Zach Ertz - Just because we have our chance. -
My wife and I have been together since 1986, lived together for 5 years and have been married since 1992.

By taking his contract desires to IG and Tweeter, I'd assume that Cook's agent and the Bills have had their initial contract talk and they are nowhere close to a re-signing. When Cook plays near the snap % that Saquon Barkley plays, rushes for 2000+ yards and helps his team win a Super Bowl, then he should be paid comparable to Barkley, until then he can slot himself between the players below him.

Would You Consider Getting Tre if Cut By the Ravens ?
frostbitmic replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes I would ... As a one day signing so he can retire a Buffalo Bill as he should. -
Mara and Tisch looking to sell a minority share of the Giants.
frostbitmic replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
But that's the beauty of it ... First Mara takes the Manning family offer and pockets it, then he lets the Manning's run the team. They know everyone and could hire the best Coaches available, then draft their scion. Meanwhile Mara sits back and makes money while the Manning's turn the franchise around and increases the teams value. -

The Manning family could be the new cash infusion that Mara is looking for. 🧐 -

For Higgins money you could re-sign both Shakir and Cook. -
Shakir, Benford, Cook and Bernard: Who Gets a Contract Extension?
frostbitmic replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think going public on Instagram with his contract fantasies has probably ruffled Beane's feathers. If they weren't looking at RB's before, they certainly are now. Did he really remove his Bills stuff from his social media ? ... If so that's not a negotiation tactic, it's a childish burn the bridges tactic and I don't think Beane will reward that. When they drafted Davis last year I knew he was going to be Cook's replacement, Cook could force that a year earlier than I anticipated. Johnson is also a FA and a damn good 3rd down back, re-sign him. We also have the son of Gore on the roster and the draft coming up. I think Cook will be traded. -

It'll help in the tank for Arch Manning. -
Shakir, Benford, Cook and Bernard: Who Gets a Contract Extension?
frostbitmic replied to NoName's topic in The Stadium Wall
1. Cook ... At 10.2M I'd jump on that, I think he'll be closer to that 15M per that he wants. 2. Shakir ... He's our best WR by a mile and I want him back, I think he comes in closer to 15M which I'd pay. 3. Bernard ... 6.7M seems reasonable but I want to see him play a full healthy year first. 4. Benford ... 22.6 seems way high but that seems in line with top CBs in the league. His concussion issues are concerning and the potential of playing more man Defense may make this the riskiest of the re-signings and I'd need to see a healthy year first. -

I've heard of him, maybe we should ... Never mind. -
The Eagles jambed the Chiefs receivers at the line causing Mahomes to hold it longer, the Bills tend to let them run free in the zone until they catch the ball.
