  1. Not sure the rules tbh. I think Shaq would be eligible…..but not 💯 I’d rather have Obada out there instead of Shaq
  2. Ok….so you didn’t see him pass block. Not to mention, if he was pass blocking he was doing so alongside 5 other OL…..as opposed to 4. don’t get me wrong…..I would love to see Doyle become a quality starter next year and have the ability to trade dion…..but I just don’t see that has being anything more than an extremely unlikely dream. dion returning to his old form has been a key to our OL resurgence. He’s played like a pro bowler ever since he was voted as such…..but not prior to be being named
  3. Yeah. They said it was his shoulder along the bottom line on the NFLN this morning. No mention of how serious it was that said. He’s been solid but I think Obada is an adequate replacement
  4. again…..how many times did you see him PASS BLOCK?
  5. the question was: would you rather have Mac Jones over Josh allen….. You gave an answer to a completely different question in order to avoid going back on your original answer. You changed the premise of the question. And it still doesn’t make much sense imo. Belichick made Cam Newton his starter last season….and he won 3 less games with him (in 16 games) even though he’s a terrible qb and 1/4 of your team opted out for covid. He did so without the 150M worth of players that you signed this offseason. The 2020 pats, talent wise, may have been the worst team in the league. Zero playmakers. No DL or LBers. Yet they were in the playoff conversation until josh destroyed them in foxboro. You’re just saving face. I get it. I’d probably do the same for my qb if I was in your sitch. That said….while I haven’t been your biggest fan this past year, after enjoying your content in previous years, I respect your football iq and opinion regarding all things non patriots. Enjoy the rest of the post season, stay safe and in good health.
  6. You were talking about the patriots but the reasons you gave regarding why they can’t stop us can be applied to almost every team in the league. That was my perspective on the conversation we were having. The reasons just don’t stand up in a vacuum. it was a helluva performance. I’ll believe we’re unstoppable when we win the super bowl. Not saying it can’t happen….but being unstoppable isn’t an easy feat to accomplish
  7. and there it is. Bwhahahahahaha. You would rather have MacNchz over Josh Allen because Josh allen wouldn’t have developed under the tutelage of the coach that helped turn a 6th round pick into the GOAT. They coach that made and nfl GM think that Matt Cassell is worth trading a 2nd rd pick for and a $63m contract. The coach that helped Jimmy G develop into a quality starter. but he wouldn’t be able to develop the most physically gifted qb ever…..that’s worked his butt off year after year to become an elite qb. Mcdermott and Beane put together a great supporting cast…..but they didn’t make him great. He made himself great. Please.
  8. I’ll be enlightened when/if this continues and we win the SB. If we don’t and our offense happens to be stifled and our season ends your premise. sorry for taking a rational approach to a football game being played against a Belichick defense as opposed to acting like our team is unstoppable vs everyone. We were last night 💯 and it created a memory that we’ll always remember but we still have to be unstoppable for 3 more games. 🙏🏻 for enlightenment.
  9. When’s the last time you saw him pass block?
  10. Everyone has. Andy Dalton 2.0. Good luck with macnchz. Maybe the pats d will force us punt to once the next time we play. Your boys have something to work towards. Maybe they can move Jonnu Smith to DE and he can get within a couple inches of 17.
  11. I’m sorry that my comment upset you so much where you would have to get personal. I agree with many of your takes…..and I don’t agree with this one. Hence my comment, it’s not your best work. I don’t seem to be in the minority here. I didn’t have time to explain why I felt it wasn’t your best take. Now I do. I just don’t see how replacing Spencer Brown can be our #1 offseason priority. I could see us drafting a tackle, but you’re talking about adding a pro bowl tackle for next season. It’s possible but I doubt we’ll be able to draft a rookie pro bowl tackle from our draft position….which means we’ll have to sign a FA pro bowl RT…..which costs big bucks. Big bucks that, imo, would be better spent in other areas. Meanwhile, morses time here is likely coming to an end, this offseason or next. Bates is a free agent and Williams likely only has 1 year left with us (imo). All 3 of our IOL have question marks going forward. Spencer Brown may still have question marks regarding his pass protection (I agree, he needs work) but the salary cap crunch is real. I view IOL as the #1 priority followed by WR. If you happen to be correct and we replace Spencer brown @ RT this offseason, I’ll gladly eat crow. We’ll just have to wait and see. you state Levi wallace should be our cb3? I don’t get that. Taron is our CB3. Levi can’t play the slot. If you’re suggesting that Levi isn’t good enough to be our cb2, that’s just insane talk. He’s worthy. Our system doesn’t require superstar athletic freak corners. We had the #1 rated defense with Levi as our #1 for half the season…..but he’s not worthy of being our cb2? He should be our cb4 that rarely plays? Come on man. After last season, I agreed with your take about levi…..but then this season happened and I know have the utmost respect for Levi and hope that he’s our cb2 for the next couple years. He’s better than you think he is. we NEED a power rb that can go toe to toe with Henry, Taylor and Mixon? Really? We NEED one? No. Need is a strong word. It’s a luxury. We have a lower rb in 17. Believe that. Motor is now a capable RB. Like Levi, he’s improved since last season and isn’t the rb that I was hoping to replace this past offseason. Big ups to motor. DT: 👍🏻 absolutely spot on. I’d put DT #2 behind IOL. Resigning Phillips should be one of our top priorities but also adding another capable 1T (if star leaves) for delth as a Phillips has had issues staying healthy. Ed is probably going to get paid 12-16M when it time for his extension. Hopefully we can afford him. Could be tough if we sign a pro bowl RT this offseason. TE depth 👍🏻 For sure. Our lack of a TE2 is frustrating and was high on my offseason priorities this past offseason. Sweeney has done nothing to show me he’s worthy. Sanders should be gone. Beasley will likely be gone. Isaiah is a FA and I can see Daboll trying to acquire him if he gets a HC job. Diggs and Davis are core players but beyond them, the cupboard may be bare. WR should be much higher on our priority list imo. Go bills.
  12. Good to see them set throw out of the 2TE set. That’s what I was banging the table for all offseason. Having the ability to run 2TE sets to switch things up and keep the opposing D on off balance. It’s been a key to our run game and it helps open up the pass gam. I didn’t think that Tommy Doyle would be that TE2 but I’m happy that he is. He’s been a difference maker. He might not be capable of pass blocking as an OT just yet, but he can maul and move.
  13. Lol. I stand corrected! Haven’t watched the any lost game Ints yet
  14. Definitely intended for knox. Unreal. That play was the beginning of a beautiful evening. edit: or definitely a throwaway and knox made himself a helluva play
  15. He’s just getting better and better.
  16. Awesome. Thanks for the insight. We thought the beach was 45 mins or so away, which was a deterrent if that was the case. We’re all about the beach. 25 mins isn’t too bad. Enjoy yourself
  17. No. It doesn’t tell the story of sanders dropping a TD. Of Kumerow dropping a TD of Daryl Williams penalty wiping out a knox TD.
