Divisional Round: Buffalo at KC Sunday at 6:30
NewEra replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Other than OL play, cornerback is the position we need to worry about most imo. Dane is susceptible to the double moves and Mahomes’ craftiness in the pocket plus the speed of the KC WRs could lead to a couple busted coverages. -

Agreed. Mckinnon has speed. I’m not worried about him much as a Rb. I think they should hand off to Williams and throw short to mckinnon. He’s pretty nasty in the open field. We wouldn’t have played Pittsburgh…. -

I’m surprised you didn’t make a thread about it! Inc? Love that you were able to kick it at the game with your moms. 👍🏻 A memory of a lifetime -

It’s only weird if it doesn’t work - Playoff Rituals

Similar. i left the bar @halftime of the tampa game, came home to a package on my door. It was my color rush Poyer Jersey. I opened it up and put it on for the 2nd half as I watched at my house. same Jersey, red throwback hat, bills socks, royal blue undies, jeans, grey bills long sleeve shirt underneath. but I don’t wash them and I haven’t taken them off -
Sorry alpha, but Imo, once you say “it comes down to one thing and one thing only” you statement is bs. Both teams’ game plan will have a lot to do with the outcome of the game. McD, Dabol and Frazier do a similar job of game planning as they did last year, there’s not much any of our players can do to change the outcome. We had no chance to win the AFCCG last year thanks to our coaching staff. that said, our coaches are 💯 capable of out-coaching Reid and Co. They just didn’t do it last season. I totally agree with the notion that we’ve lost pretty much every game (minus Indy) this year because we shot ourselves in the foot and made stupid mistakes. It was painful to watch for awhile there mid season. If we lose and the coaching staff puts together the great gameplan vs KC….shooting ourselves in the foot will likely be the reason why. So you could be correct….but we’ll have to wait and see what the coaches do.

No, Obada isn’t an adequate replacement? Dude hadn’t practiced much in 2 weeks due to injury. I could be wrong, but I feel that him not practicing much had as much to do with him being inactive as the crazy depth we have along the OL. addison has been the better player this year, no question…..but I see Obada as capable. I think he’s better than AJ and similar to Basham. Adequate….. nothing more.

This!! No feliciano vs Jones. Santa delivered! MEEEEEERRRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! Hohoho!! Going into this season, I thought the season would, again, come down to Feliciano vs Jones in the AFCCG. It’s a week earlier, but I’m thankful that we don’t have to watch that obliteration next week. Hopefully ever.

What’s the difference in our teams from mid season to now? biggest difference : OL, No feliciano/Ford/Ike, OL scheme and using 6 OL. Adding that wrinkle of the extra OL has been huge for us. 2nd biggest difference: Harrison Phillips. His play has coincided with our D becoming almost an impenetrable wall. He’s earned a 2nd contract. Minus Epenesa, our DL is extremely consistent with staying in their lanes. Getting push in the pass rush, but keeping the gap integrity. They’ve been better than I can remember at keeping the QB in the pocket. I didn’t mention Ed, because I he’s been good all year. What a stud he’s turning out to be. Motors improvement has been insane. Poyer and Hyde = the backbone of the team. Number 1 pass D by a large margin…..with Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson as the outside corners for half the season. No offense to those kids, who are playing great football, but P&H make it all happen

Tua and Hurts will never get to the promised land
NewEra replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
You’re entitled to your opinions. How can you say that it’s criminal…..when several people felt that josh allen would never be able to improve his accuracy. sure, the reasons for declaring josh, hurts and Tua “will never get to the promised land” are different but that doesn’t change the fact that Josh had an attribute that needed a lot of work. An attribute than many felt “can’t be taught” at this level. Either you’re accurate or not. They were wrong. Hurts doesn’t have a weak arm. His arm strength is fine. His problem was his throwing motion (elongated and over the top) and his footwork. Just like josh. That said, I agree about Tua……I don’t think he’ll ever be a franchise QB, let alone take a team to the promised land. I don’t think he has the physical tools and from what I’ve read, it seems like he isn’t putting in the work to be great….but if I’m wrong about his work ethic, you never know if he’s going to turn things around. Unlikely, sure. But not impossible. Trent dilfer, Joe flacco and Brad Johnson got to the promised land. Regarding Hurts, I think the jury is still out. I believe he’s has all the physical tools to be the man (not josh allen level, but a very good qb). I wasn’t a fan of him coming out of bama (just like Tua and macnchz) but he’s improved a bunch in year 2. Just like josh did from year 1 to 2. Josh didn’t fix his mechanics til year 3. Who’s to say that hurts doesn’t continue to fix his motion and footwork going into year 3? For those that think his fate has already been decided. I disagree. agree to disagree. -

Like I asked before…..what’s “like this” mean? You can stop wherever you want, but I don’t understand why you would answer that question with that answer -

Probably not, but many that decided Josh Allens future based on his first 2 seasons were criminally incorrect -

Josh tends to slip off most sack attempts. yeah, it’s been nuts how Judon fell of a cliff the second he hurt himself trying to trip allen in the last matchup. helluva player when he’s right.
