He’s the OC. He’s in charge of the offense. He’s in charge of moving the chains. It’s his job, not Not yours. He needs to fix it. iv’e already stated that dirty, shakir and the crowder injury are partly to blame. I didn’t put it all on him……but he’s the coach and teams have obstacles to overcome. Overcome it Ken. Start by playing shakir and sitting dirty down. Put cook or Hines in the slot more often. So far, the results have been pitiful and it’s hurting out offense

For sure. Most of that first half was Zach Wilson like. Those screens….. wtf was going on. I have to admit, I was worried that the season was about to end before our eyes. He was terrible.
-
where did I say that frustration wasn’t building? I’ll save you the time. I didn’t. I believe that they ARE getting frustrated with him. That doesn’t mean they should just put him in IR. He may be able to play and contribute to a potential Super Bowl run. We shouldn’t rush this situation. Wait and see. Tre’s situation has zero relevance to Josh and Poyers situations. I highly doubt Josh and Poyer are pissed at him. Ultimatums usually work out well on grown adult millionaires. it’s the equivalent of throwing a baby tantrum. But Adrian Peterson came back…. So everyone else should be able to do the same. Everyone is the same, physically and mentally. Your take is extremely juvenile. Grow up.

Like the current bills passing offense? Or the bills passing offense we saw the first few weeks? Josh is not Josh. Hopefully he comes back soon
-
Agree with all of this minus the bolded. We lost each of those games for various reasons….none more so than Josh throwing terrible interceptions (minny and nyj) and a terrible throw to dirty for a TD (Miami). He’s our franchise and he failed in all 3 games.
-
Or how about just wait it out and see what happens. Just IR him because he hasn’t played yet would an irrational decision. If he says he’s done for the year, IR him. When was the last time you had a conversation with Tre? What did he tell you….. making these kind of decisions from the couch without any real knowledge of the situation is 💩
-
Yeah, let’s put the guy who’s not confident enough to play out there just because it’s time to take a dump.
-
Agreed on all points except the bolded. I don’t think that was the case. I think they thought crowder + Mckenzie would be able to do the things they wanted to do. Crowder doing work vs the zone and McKenzie doing work vs man. Then crowder got hurt in preseason while dirty impressed in his absence and took the job. They had similar targets in 3 of the first 4, with dirty getting the majority vs Miami (who played mostly man while playing in dirtys home town). Beasley had slowed and they thought crowder was a similar player (and he is). No one was complaining about slot WR until the season started. The only thing we cried about was outside WR depth. Mostly everyone thought Beane replaced Beasley with somewhat competent players. The Shakir sitch has had me fuming since crowder went out.

Sure….Daboll had his drawbacks. No doubt. But he used the slot….and that’s why this thread is about. 2 years ago, our slot WR was 2nd team all pro- while our WR1 first team all pro. Dorsey has turned our slot position into an abyss of irrelevance. Maybe dirty, shakir and crowders injury are partly to blame, but I don’t think this is what Dorsey and McD had in mind with slot production. 1 target- 0 catches

Edmunds…back to back good games. Facts. (Update: Another good game)

He was in the first half. His play was better in the 2nd half. Not starter material by any stretch, but he wasn’t Johnson/Lewis bad. -
Agreed. Dirtys failures and McD/Dorsey’s reluctance to give Shakir more targets/snaps has been agonizing. The slot had played a big role in our offense for the previous 3 seasons. Especially on 3rd down. Now, it’s an afterthought. Dorsey needs to find his way and find the ability to scheme guys open.

It was a ticky tack call. If the refs called that every time, every game would have 80 penalties called. Correct, according to the rule book, it’s a penalty. Still a bad flag. You’re trying not to be combative because you know you got lucky that they threw it.

We’ve seen it before. It’s ok 😉 Can you clue us in who “some” people are? edmunds has been excellent this season. Not as good as Milano, but his exit vs Minnesota coincided with our D getting torched. He deserves pro bowl this season.

This could be massive- get well soon Mitch. Our season could hinge on this injury

Superstar. And most non bills fans have no idea who he is. Still

They’re in position but never turn around. Dane especially. He turned once in the 4th qtr and forced an incompletion. to their credit, the browns made some nice catches (and drops) and Brissett some nice throws.
-
Nick Chubb- 14 rushes 19 yards. The defense is brutal….minus Rousseau and Edmunds (and to a lesser extent White). Our corners need to have better awareness playing the ball. It was a rough 1st half for the d and we got bailed out Brissetts fumble, but Frazier had a very good second half after getting beatdown in the first half. the offense is what we need to worry about as of now. Specifically, our slot usage. Shakir……where are you? Try cook in the slot. Get the kid the ball. He’s starting to look like a nice weapon

We’re taking about tredavious’ mental obstacles. We should be talking about our QB. You can see it in his eyes. He’s not the same qb right now. 😞 -
