  1. As bad as this looks now, just wait til Ben Johnson leaves after the season.
  2. He doesn’t drop all of them. He came up big for them en route to the Sb
  3. I’m one of his biggest detractors. That said- he made some huge play last post season. I’m sure he’d revert back to the unreliable version if we signed him, but he’s worth a shot considering our current WR5-6. He’s brings us a deep threat
  4. Definitely hard to project. I just think that 12 will be part of our identity. 50% or so is my prediction
  5. Good. He doesn’t count on the cap….why would anyone not like an additional perspective?
  6. I’m with this, but I think it could be 45-55% of the snaps. His new contract all but guarantees him to be a bill this year and next. I think 12 personnel will be used more than some would like/prefer.
  7. I just mentioned shorter because he’s a 2nd year draft pick like Bernard was. I’m not a fan of the football player and think that Shavers may take his spot
  8. A guy that had shown nothing turned very good starter- I don’t think we really have that. Edwards, Edwards, Rapp, Benford have all started several games prior to this season. I don’t consider them to be the same as Bernard. Benford had his coming out party last season, just like Bernard did. Closest I can see on the roster would be Dewayne Carter. Also a 3rd rd pick, may not start but could get 50ish% snap counts and I think he’ll be a plus player. Not great, but I think he’ll emerge as a core player over the next 4 years, starting in 2024. Elam would be up next, but I have lot more confidence in him becoming a good starter at this point then I had in Bernard last season. shorter, shavers, hamler, morris could be considered but I don’t see any of them becoming nearly as good as Bernard. I’d give Morris the best chance once Knox inevitably gets injured.
  9. To my eye, Davis was a better RB than Moss in college. Much better lateral mobility, better burst and hands. I think moss may have brought slightly more power, but I hated that pick when we made it. Surprised that we went RB in rd 4 (was hoping rd 5), but I like the player that we drafted and I think he’ll be our starter going into his 3rd year
  10. He knows. Everything. If ya don’t know, know ya knowwww
  11. I think Hollins > Claytool based on their contracts. Hollins making over 2x the $ and has a 1.1M dead cap. Claypool 25k. If I’m wrong, then that’ll be a great thing, as maybe he has figured out how to be a pro. I’m happy that we rolled the dice on him based on potential.
  12. I think he’s likely to be top 3 in targets. Doesn’t really matter if he’s a starter or not. Within the first month I think Keon will have a similar snap count to Gabe based on his run blocking but I think Shakir will get more targets. I expect a continued high use of the run game Barring injury, in order of targets, I’ll go: Kincaid Shakir Samuel Keon Cook Knox Hollins Davis
  13. It’s a transition from old heads to young heads. biggest losses: Poyer and Hyde. 2024 Bishop is likely better than the 2023 versions of P&H. Younger and cheaper. Tre- he’s not a loss- we’ve gotten nothing from him for 3 straight seasons including the playoffs. Cheaper Morse- could be the biggest loss, I don’t think the combination of Edwards/SVPG is too much of a downgrade. Younger and cheaper Diggs and Gabe- diggs was a detriment to the team the second half of the year. I was one of his biggest supporters down the stretch but the dude just didn’t get it done. I’d rather have both Samuel and Keon over Gabe 💯. Neither are Diggs but both can be what Diggs was in Brady’s offense last season. Hollins > trent. Also got younger and cheaper. Phillips- settle- Linval- traded out for Carter,Johnson and Williams- I’ll take this years 3 over last years. Younger and cheaper. floyd -(&shaq) when our d was at its best last season, he was flying around making plays. Then the last 1/3 of the season happened. His play declined dramatically and he saved his most invisible game of the year for the finale vs KC. Shaq was a jag. Replaced with Von, Smoot and Soloman. ^^^^^^^^^^. This is what worries me most. Will we be able to create pressure on opposing QBs? Pass rush is where I’d look for help if there’s any help to be had. Can Rousseau and AJ each take their level up a notch? Did we strike gold with soloman? Can Von even be 75% of his old self? I think this is what will eventually make or break our season. Last season we were top 5 in sacks. We need to stay in the top 10 and disrupt the QB in the playoffs.
  14. A lot less wiggle to my eye.
  15. I dont see it with Gore Jr. Looks pedestrian to me
  16. It’s funny when people talk about his age as if it matters. He’ll be on the team for 4 years and then will leave unless he’s willing to play for less to stay.
  17. Huh? So your scolding him for taking Kincaid and not reaching for or trading up for a WR? We took a potentially stud pass catcher and a guard that looks like a future pro bowler with our first two picks to help surround Allen with talent. Sorry that it wasn’t the position you had hoped for, but Beane had a fine draft
  18. Because they’re going to get rid of one after this season and because they’re paying their QB 1M-
  19. disagree- he’s still pretty dam good, won’t cost much and can be fit under the cap relatively easy. I think he’s just about the only way to upgrade the WR at this point unless you think trading for Aiyuk or Higgins feasible. I don’t
  20. What other young and affordable WRs are obtainable at this point?
  21. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I thought all of that has been discussed in the other eerily similar threads
  22. Good points and I agree that we haven’t invested enough into the WR unit. They put their bag on Diggs to be that dude and to carry some ARs that weren’t worry. Their belief in Gabe really backfired on them. I didn’t like drafting a RB in rd 4 either, but I love the player they drafted and I think he’ll help us as a rookie . You don’t always get that out of 4th rd picks. Will get to see Brady’s true offense as opposed to him calling Dorsey’s playbook. Seems like he has the vision. Use the short to open up the deep. I have no problem with it…. Yet Time to get on board or find a new ship! Doesn’t seem like these guys are going anywhere while Pegula is the owner. Him leaving is your hope.
