Josh needs a run game to lean on. The narrative the last 4 years has been “Josh is being asked to do too much” and to relieve him of that, we had to become better at running the ball and allow the run game to compliment Josh’s abilities. That doesn’t mean we have to become a heavy run first team every week. We had to improve the run and we have. What happens from here on out, we’ll see what Brady decides to do but we have 5-6 pretty good weapons along with a solid OL to run an offense that has the ability to succeed in many ways.

One doesn’t have to be obsessed with your mental state to notice. It just sticks out like a sore thumb. It is strange considering I think I kind of know the guy behind the posts. I hear ya regarding peters fit….but even if we put peters at LT and Brown at RT, slide Dawkins to LG. of all the players of the drought era, I think we’d have to start my making sure we got an elite player, preferably at a premium position. Pass rush, LT, WR and those happen to be spots where we were elite, or close to.

He might be the best QB ever. He’s ended 3 of our last 4 seasons. I don’t like the guy. Not sure why any bills fan would like him. But hate is a different story. I don’t hate him. This signing just confirms that Claypool is now a minimum contract FA. i think they want some big and some not big. They want talented guys that can make plays and will try some out. I do agree that they have a need for having at least 2 of that prototype on the roster. Being more physical is definitely a focus, but we signed the not so big samuel and will feature him and not so big shakir. They want a mix. Finally.

Claypool is in a tier of his own. He’s the only one that was eligible to play and healthy, but wasn’t given playing time because he sucks and can’t stop committing mental error.

Yeah I realize jones was good at one point in his career. He’s been bad/unwanted the last 3. I didn’t say Spector was a lock. I separated them due to being on the team last season. I thought he play relatively well last year and would give him the nod over Jones at this point. Jmo

Id argue that they are “good choices for camp bodies” as opposed them being “bets on upside”. If we would’ve bet on them, we’d have placed a bet, aka given them gtd money. Hamler is 1 year 1M, no gtd looks like camp body to me. I’d bet claypool is similar but we’ll see. I’m sure McB is excited about the possible upside and that’s why they’re here…. But I don’t think it’s any more than that. Invite talented players to camp if they want to come here.

Klein played because 3 guys were out. There is no Klein replacement. I don’t think jones will beat out morrow or milano bernard dorian spector Morrow Eddy Jones thats how I see things anyway. Chase Claypool. lol. What a waste of a physical being. I don’t hate that we brought him in based on traits, but I don’t think he or any of these 3 makes the team. Experienced vets that can push the kids… except Claypool. He brings nothing to the table. edit- I think Smoot has a chance to be the new Shaq Lawson, but more likely a potential ps guy they bring up for injury.

I’d rather draft a Ray Davis in rd 4 or 5 and spend the money elsewhere. Watched a decent amount of Steelers recent years and he rarely impresses me. Now they’ll get a motivated Najee. Maybe that’ll be better than the previous
