  1. Yeah I really like what I see regarding Walker. I could see him being this years Pickens. High 2nd rd pick that might be worthy of rd 1. Polk always stands out to me as a guy who could blossom into a WR1 if given the opportunity. Effective all over the field, good run after the catch. Lack of blocking scares me a bit for what this team wants. Mitchell reminds me of what Gabe Davis could be if he had great hands and could get better separation. But never a WR1 I really like worthy but I’m worried a bit about his weight/strength holding up. Almost like a taller, skinnier Davonte Smith…..who has been able to hold up this far. I could see him going rd 1
  2. Don’t forget the custom made #11 Sharty jersey compliments of @BADOLBILZ
  3. They almost don’t look real is right!!! Only 36 TDs in 11 games? I was sure he had over 50 vs miami
  4. It might be our biggest need. As of now it is….but lots can change come the draft. Lots can come out regarding prospects. Trading up in rd 2 is a lot more cost effective than trading up into rd 1. As of now, I’d be happy if we traded up for one of the top 3 WRs, but that’ll definitely cost us our first next season and possibly our 1st and 2nd this year. Hefty price to pay considering our cap and future contract sitch. the key is to NOT REACH according to need. I’d rather draft a possibly elite level DL over a solid WR2. Several of the prospects 4-10 look a lot more like Gabe Davis than they do Stefon Diggs imo. Lots of tall X WRs that can stretch the field, but not as gifted running full route trees. Leggette and Thomas seem to have the most potential so I’m good taking them in rd 1- but I there’s a good chance both of those guys are gone when we pick. I think 6-7 WRs will go round 1. eager to dive deeper into this class, I’ll hold out until we win the SB or are eliminated.
  5. Torrance was pretty terrible vs the Pats. Probably his worst game of the year
  6. This. I hope we take a WR rd 1, but looking at the prospects- I think we might be better off taking BPA DL, OT or DB if the right guy falls). there’s a legit top 3: the difference between 1-3 and 4-10 is evident imo. who are the 4-10 guys and how much better is #4 than #10? I’ve watched a fair amount of tape so far- and the 2 guys I’d be ok taking in rd 1 are Leggette and Thomas Jr.. Franklin is a possibility too. Worthy, Mitchell, egbuka, Coleman, Walker, Polk, Burton, McConkey, Wilson are all jumbled up to me atm as guys I’d be happy with in rd 2 but don’t seem like good value in rd 1. Which WRs other than the top 3 intrigue you the most in rd 1 and have the potential to be a WR1?
  7. Jim told John how to steal the oppositions hand signals- obv
  8. He’s gonna be a phenomenon. If he’s there when we select- get ready for him to be the pick. Yes, we need WR. I prefer WR, but we also need elite super stars. Cooper has a chance to be just that, especially in McDs system. He can do it all. Special player imo. It’s still early in the process, but I don’t think he’ll be there when we pick. Gonna be tough for a team to tell him he’s playing S if he wants to play CB. 10M aav difference after the rookie contract. If I’m cooper, I’m telling the world I’m playing corner
  9. Very valid points. all I care is that we make the playoffs. I would prefer the 2 seed and a 4th straight division crown but ultimately, we just need to be in the playoffs. missing the playoffs after this roller coaster could really blow this team up. Winning a SB could get some of the DL back on friendly contracts
  10. 💯 It’s the most important decision of the offseason and one of the most important decisions in this franchises history. We can’t afford to hire someone that wastes another 2 years of 17. If we lose Sunday- I’d just prefer to fire McD and hire Ben Johnson to 15M per year. Not making the playoffs this season is a fireable offense. Firing McD and hiring Johnson would almost eliminate any chances of making a mistake in hiring the new voice for Josh Allen to listen to. He’d probably have a 3-4 year leash and I’d really like for Josh to have the same voice in his brain and extended period of time. I feel he needs continuity. Johnson would allow that continuity. I’m not gonna lie, I’m worried about McD making a massive mistake in this regard. that said- I think we defeat Miami and make the playoffs which gives Brady at least one more opportunity to earn the job. If our offense doesn’t get any better than the last 2 games, Brady needs to go.
  11. I realize there’s an actual computer generated %. I I wasn’t predicting what I thought the computer would predict. I was just stating my opinion of what I think the should be.
  12. Sorry- I should’ve typed WR1 or WR2 instead of WR1-WR2
  13. I’m expecting jax to win because they need it, but I definitely think the titans have a chance. Tannehill is playing for a contract next season. The jags D hasn’t been playing very well in recent weeks (up until playing Carolina last week)
  14. I don’t think they’re going to bring many blitzes. Could be wrong, but I think they’re gonna sit back and make Josh dink and dunk and hope he makes a mistake.
  15. I think you’re underestimating the impact of having an OC that’s in tune with the roster. Dorsey was all in on Diggs and neglected cook. Brady is the opposite while having no clue how to use his 2 good TEs (which can offset your need for having 4 good WRs). Again I’ll ask- which teams can afford to lose their WR1-2 and not miss a beat?
  16. Who’s saying that’s what they envisioned? 🤷🏻‍♂️ It’s as simple as this: they made mistakes in Harty and Sherfield. Just because they made a mistake on them doesn’t mean they can’t go back to the well and sign players to similar contracts after investing their best asset into the positions (basically 2 years in a row with Kincaid). It’s the likely scenario imo. Rd 1 WR + 2 mid WR FAs or RD 1 WR + WR mid rd pick + mid FA. but maybe your right and they pivot to load up on O. The o has had their issues and maybe they want to make sure they put their best foot forward to fix it. A lot may depend on how “all in” they want to go by kicking lots more money down the road. Knowing this regime, I think they'll mortgage some future cap but not as much as some of you guy want….. and probably not enough to satisfy both the defensive needs and needs at WR. There will likely have to be some compromise jmo
  17. You 💯 underestimate their worth. I think it may be time to move on as well, but I’d rather wait to see how the season progresses before counting them out. they love playing together for for mcd. If they’re willing to come back at a combined 10m or less per year- McD will find a way to bring them back. Our Dabs have been awesome this season and they’re a big part of their success.
  18. What nfl teams have such an embarrassment of riches where if they lose a top WR, they have great replacements? Our problems lie in that gabe isn’t a great 2 and Sheffield and Harty aren’t good options @ WR4-5. Drafting a WR2 in rd 1 and landing wr 4-5 later in the draft and in FA. We’re 30m over the cap and we have 8 FA DL. 8. Sometimes you can’t address everything with premium resources. Get ready for drafting a DL in rd 1 or 2 + another DL in rd 3-4 in addition to resigning a handful of returners
  19. That WR may be Harty. He may be DJ Chark. Or Juju. We also may not even need that WR because we’d have Diggs/1st rd WR/kincaid/shakir in 4 WR sets. Then add knox. Shakir isn’t a star but he’s a very good 4th-5th option in the passing game. looking at our offense this year- we only need to replace Gabe (which will be 1st rd WR) and the Sherfield/Harty slot. They rarely ever see the field at the same time. Shorter will replace Sherfield and another draft pick/FA to replace Harty. plus we need to replace/resign: Floyd, epenesa, Shaq, daquan, Jphillips, settle, and joseph. The DL has saved our season and any McD coached D has no chance without a talented DL. sure it would be nice to add another 15M-18m WR like evans, but not at the expense of Leonard Floyd and Daquan
  20. I hear ya. I agree- Diggs and shakir and gut the rest- shorter might be wr6 so that leaves 3 spots. I just think it’s impractical to use our 2 best assets (1st rd pick and big FA contract) on the position. We’ve invested in knox and Kincaid- if we plan on using both of them (which should based on our investments) then using our 1st and big FA $ on WR is a poor allocation of assets imo. We need to find a way to use Kincaid and knox at the same time. I’d like to see: -Diggs -1st rd pick -Shakir -3-5M FA that can challenge 1st rd pick and shakir -1-3M FA or later rd pick -Shorter Kincaid Knox Cook
  21. Copy that- Even so- you thought we’d use our first rd pick on a WR and then use any FA money we might be able to free up for another WR with a similar skill set as the WR we just drafted. Meanwhile we’d have no defensive line- and no money to buy one. Sounds fun. But it’s 💩
  22. Mahomes over allen is also nonsense
