Smart guy. If you want him, pay him. That kind of money shouldn’t matter for a HC that doesn’t count against the cap imo. If teams want him bad enough, they’ll pay him that. And they will college kids are getting paid millions to play college sports nowadays. Then they transfer and make millions more if they aren’t happy. USC paid Malachi Nelson millions to take classes at USC and watch USC games….. he then said “see ya” and entered the transfer portal. You would. Terry has his coach

This will be the first game I miss in 27 years. Thanks NFL

Then prefer to pay or cry about it. I pay. I have no problem with it. Apparently some would rather just cry about it than watch it illegally with 0% chance of getting caught -
The chiefs won a SB with just that last year. Unless you think JuJu is that much better than Rashee rice that it would bump them up a notch. OT certainly looks like the chiefs playmakers are below average this season, no?

Random talking head says something about the Bills
NewEra replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah, I think he/she’s just a very vocal pessimist that suffers from ptsd and some egocentrism -
That has nothing to do with my feelings about him. Thanks though
-
I think von will bring it when we need him most
-
I think he’ll get around that aav. Years don’t mean much though. The players only care about gtd money imo. i think he should be happy if he gets 28-30M guaranteed

They’ve changed so much you can watch every nfl game, nba game, soccer game, nhl game, mlb game, ufc fight and boxing match from the comforts of you own home for free. if you don’t want to (or can’t) pay, you don’t have to. It can all be free -
Random talking head says something about the Bills
NewEra replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Enter Leonard Floyd and the new Ed Oliver. I think von will bring it come playoffs. AJ playing for his big $ as is Daquan, Shaq, JP (if he plays). Our DL can carry us. On D, i’m not worried about closers. I’m worried about McD with the game on the line. On O, I’m worried about our run game being able to produce like we are counting on them to produce. -
Not surprised. Fine representation of his career as a Bill. Does little- flashes enough to make us think he’s solid- gets hurt and useless for the remainder of the season
-
They look pretty good! Checked them out on yelp. Not a fan of what the other food looks like, but the wings look fried perfectly
-
I appreciate you more and more every day Leonard. I think he’s the best edge pass rusher we’ve had since Bruce. Vons injury kept him from that last season. Mario was a force. I love me some Jerrrryyy. Schobel was solid. But give me Leonard. He’s so violently explosive mixed with incredible length and IQ. I’m gonna lose my ish if we can’t retain him. if you haven’t seen this yet (it’s long) they highlight a few plays where Floyd just dominates with his violent speed. Bring Buffalo a Lombardi Leonard!!! I billieve in you!

The niners oppositions have so much to worry about. Cmc is the best playmaker in the game and he’s getting holes opened by the best LT in the game with plays getting gettting by the best play caller in the league while being flanked by Aiyuk and Kittle. We wouldn’t have any route runners if we traded Diggs for deebo. Deebo would not be nearly as effective as our WR1. Dudr is running wide open on 90 % of his catches and it’s not becssue he’s such a refined route runner. agree to disagree.
-
Down year and he’s still a top 10 WR. I’ve already pointed that out. Deebo is in the best offense in football, with the best play caller in football. Put deebo on the Bills and you see a different deebo. He’s not a good route runner. He’s a great runner with the ball
-
Yeah…. But YOU said he’s not even top 10. So yeah, crusade on!
-
The position has always been somewhat QB dependent no? Are Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne in the HoF if the Bills had drafted them instead of the colts? Is Jerry rice the greatest WR ever if he was drafted by the cardinals? Diggs had two things in the way while he was in Minny- having another top WR in theilen and had bridgewater, Bradford and keenum his first 3 years. Cousins for his next two. Yet our GN thought he was worth multiple draft picks. Beane thought he was top 10. I didn’t think he was a top 5 WR in minny but I thought he was top 10. What he’s shown his first 3.5 years in Buffalo makes me believe he’s top 5. Def top 10. He’s hit a rough patch. It happens. Not sure why anyone would doubt him based on a rough patch I stand by my comment that he’d be voted top 10 WR by just about every nfl player. If not all. You listed 8 and some might still regard Diggs as better than Deebo….. a RB playing WR in a freaky system. You’d take deebo over Diggs? 🤣
-
Ahhh, the crusade continues! if you asked every NfL to list their top 10 WRs, Diggs would be on everyone’s list. If you asked every analyst who their top 10 teams in the nfl were 5 weeks ago- not one would list Buffalo. FF 5 weeks- we’re out everyones top 5. We were always a top 5 team- we were just playing like 💩 suffering from a bad OC mixed with bad luck. Diggs is in the midst of just that. Doesn’t mean he’s not a top 10 WR. He is.
-
The RB group is very good. The TE group is very good. The OL looks to be good/very good. The WR group is lacking but they have roles that work what could be our new identity. Diggs is an elite WR that is having a rough go as of late. I have no worries about him on game days. Davis and Sheffield are two of the best blocking WRs in the league and aren’t bums in the passing game. Shakir looks to be emerging as a solid WR3 option. Going forward- we only need to worry about adding a legit WR2……unless we just plan to pound the rock and decide resign gabe. I don’t see that happening tho. He’ll probably chase the most $ and I hope that’s not us).

James Cook named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
NewEra replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know if it is easy as that, but it might be. I think Brady knows how to scheme to run at a higher level and play to our advantages. Dorsey was a bum that was overvalued due to the great talent around him. Similar to his college playing career. He was a much better college QB than he was OC -
This works for me. although I’ve been smashing the Char BBQ wings (dipped in “holy s***” hot sauce and blue cheese) at moondoggies (LV) over the last month. Great mix of sweet and HEAT with great texture.

A Few Thoughts about the Cowboys Game, in no particular order
NewEra replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks Virgil! one thing I haven’t seen many talk about this week has been the DL. Ed, Floyd, Rousseau, Von and JP were monsters. They stayed in their lanes and dominated. McD did a great job disguising the rush and bringing additional pressure. Dak had nowhere to go with the ball and that was thanks to a helluva game plan and effort. if we can continue to get this kind of production from our D, I really like our chances of winning the afc. -
Justin Houston released to sign with contender
NewEra replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s why. i don’t expect him to sign with us because I don’t think we want him -
I agree with this as long as the niners beat the ravens on Christmas. If Lamar shows out and beats the best team in the league, I think he can sneak back into the picture for the moment. Josh will still have an opportunity though. watching almost every niner game over the last 5+ years, Trent Williams is the niners MVP, followed by Bosa. Brock has had a masterful season but if Trent weren’t there, he wouldn’t even be considered
