Me too. Optimistic that is. Josh is playing great. Kincaid, cook and shakir are all very good and potentially great playmakers on rookie contracts. Our OL is finally good and should be intact. I think we’re set at CB and LB just need S, DL and WR. the fact that we were able to have a sustainable offense without having a WR1 play like a WR1 gives me even more hope. I do worry about the Diggs situation. He has no room to pout or be a diva after his 2nd half of the season performance. Hopefully he’ll be humbled some and realize we need him to get back to himself the best he can

Waving goodbye to Gabe Davis. Retaining him for more than 5M a year would be a massive mistake imo. Draft his replacement in rd 1

I was hoping the plan was to nickel and dime our way down the field and burn the clock, like we did the entire game…..but then Josh decides to take 2 shots in the endzone on 2nd and 3rd. This game ends differently if he throws to Diggs on 2nd and Kincaid on 3rd. Oh well. That’s what Josh likes to do and I can’t blame him. But his decisions on the last set of downs contributed to our loss….regardless of the amazing game he played

Oh yeah, I agree. I put Milano and Bernard under the microscope because the guy that took the MLB snaps wasn’t an nfl player 2 weeks ago. And now he was starting vs Reid, mahomes and Kelce….and was picked on

I hear ya. I’d have zero problem if we fired McD and hired Ben Johnson to give Josh a great offensive mind to work with. His overall philosophy doesn’t seem able to bring home the gold without a healthy defense. And our defense just can’t stay healthy. That said, I do not believe that we lost that game because of him. I do believe we would have won if we had just one of our starting Lbs from opening day healthy. I don’t think that’s too hard to ask for. Every team remaining in the playoffs has all of their starting LBers healthy. AJ Klein is not an nfl player at the moment and Reid took advantage of it. min fine bringing back McD and Brady- I’m also fine if we decide to go in a different direction…..but who we replace him with will likely decide the Josh allen era fate. We better get it right

A TD would’ve given KC a lot of time…..and as you’ve pointed out several times, McD can’t stop elite QBs…..why would this have been any different. looking at the play with regards to time and score he should’ve dumped to Diggs. Kept the clock moving- moved the chains and forced KC to call TOs

I agree- he hasn’t proven a dam thing against top QBs in the playoffs. my evidence is how they perform with a somewhat healthy D. It doesn’t have to be totally healthy. Just not ravaged by injuries. It just so happens that we are only somewhat healthy in the regular season….. and by the time the playoffs come around, we aren’t. Each time we’ve played KC during the regular season, our D has been much healthier than when we face them in the playoffs. Regular season- we’ve been healthier and the D played well playoffs- we’ve been banged up. I’d love to see KC beat us without Chris Jones or Sneed. Not happening

And the injuries were a totally different story as well, my guy. when we played them in the regular season each year, we had Bernard and Benford. 13 seconds, our corners were Levi and Dane. We had Tre during the regular season and pounded them. last year, we had a healthy von and he wrecked them. That’s my point- McD has proven he’s able to stop them…..when he has a somewhat healthy roster. Missing Milano, Bernard, Tre, Benford, Rapp and JP hurt. Big time. Hell, even losing Spector hurt last night

KC had a great gameplan and their OL played well. Our DL has been a game wrecker most of the season

KC wasn’t able to get what they wanted in 3 of the last 4 games played vs our D. They certainly did yesterday. Attacking AJ Klein

Allen was awful vs the bengals and pretty good vs KC in the AFCCG. Masterful vs Kc in the other 2 games

But you can blame him for not taking the easy pass to Diggs which would’ve chewed up clock or a KC TO. Even if we scored on the pass to shakir, KC would’ve had plenty of time to score

We don’t have to be 💯 healthy, we just need to be healthier than what we’ve been. Take away Milano and Tre- 30M+ in contracts. Our best defender and our original CB1- We could’ve won without them. Even if we just had Bernard out there, I think the game ends with a W. Kelce was killing Klein. In all, we lost 2 of our top 3 corners. 3 of our top 4 linebackers, a rotational DT and S. take that away from KC and this game end differently. How many players did they have starting that were on the couch 12 days ago? The injuries aren’t the only reason we lost, but they impacted the outcome of the game.

Blame the coaches because Reid and Co attacked out LB that was was sitting on the couch 2 weeks ago…. I don’t think we lost because of coaching. If Josh would’ve hit a wide open shakir, the narrative would’ve been much different credit to Reid and Mahomes for attacking our weakensses.

He would’ve been legendary if he hit the wide open Khalil Shakir for the GW TD. But he missed. He played a great game….. but he missed when we needed him most

You just get over it. You either stop rooting for the team and give up or you get fired up for next season. its a football game and we outplayed them. We lost. I don’t think the roster or the coaching was the problem tonight
