Thanks Virgil! Always a enjoyable read. 5- Von Miller- when we paid Von Miller- we weren’t paying a 35 year old coming off his 2nd torn acl. We were lucky that he took a pay cut for the sake of the team. The dead cap in cutting him would’ve been much more than his salary. Keeping him at a reduced rate was the best choice. I’d never play him over 50% of the snaps, until the playoffs. I thought he looked pretty good out there. I saw at least 3 pressures and that’s without really keeping an eye on him. He smoked his guy on the final 4th down- Murray got rid of it quickly- throwing a jump ball to a 5’7 WR.

I thought we got the 💩 end of the stick early, but things evened out by the end of the game.

I hear ya- I don’t think the consensus is that we took a “big” step back, rather a step back and with the jets getting back AR and the dolphins sped. Most of the national media has us as a playoff team, which we were last season by the skin of our teeth. I hear ya. I like the guy, but one season of good play from a guy with a history of back injuries worries me. I thought he was good last season, but he got whooped on plenty and if it wasn’t for 17 being 17, he’d have been on the hook for a decent amount of sacks imo. after sleeping in it- I’ll be ok with it if 15M and under…..but I still think it’ll be 17-19, and that, I’m not cool with. Hopefully he proves me wrong

I had zero doubts that he would succeed in KC. Perfect landing spot for him. Elite QB. Elite play caller. Other great playmakers around him. He is going to be a big play guy and teams will have to game plan for him. The question is, can he stay healthy? That was the only reason I didn’t want to draft him and I have my doubts that he’ll be able to avoid getting demolished every season. Time will tell, but when he’s healthy, watch the efff out. Game changing speed
