  1. If everybody is healthy I like our chances as long as Hairston can start and at least be average. We have more options scheme wise with him in there. Hopefully Hancock can step in for Rapp and be the guy next to Bishop. I fear we won’t be winning a Super Bowl if Rapp or Poyer is starting (and I love me some Jordan Poyer, but let’s be real). or we have to make some moves. Chauncey must be a real ****** if we aren’t bringing him in. He wants a path to playing time. He has one in Buffalo
  2. Right….and Brady is our offensive play caller for this year (at least). 🍻 to him figuring it out. If he doesn’t, we should trade him with picks for better WR.
  3. I don’t think Palmer and Keon should split time. I think Palmer is a much better option right now. part of the reason we have him is the 50/50 balls and putting him position to use his body and body control to move the chains. Yet it rarely comes to fruition. If that is never going to happen, we should probably trade him now. if we aren’t going to be throwing him those balls, he’s best used in the slot…. But we already have Shakir and Kincaid. I don’t see a place for him if he can’t move the chains on the sideline or downfield.
  4. Might be the case. If we land a corner, then what of Hairston? I’m definitely down for a S, I just don’t know I’ve been more positive about Keon than most. My biggest fear with him is that there aren’t enough slot snaps for him with Shakir and Kincaid and he’s just a big risk in the outside at the moment. It’s tough to count on him to win. Not sure Brady knows how to use his abilities to our advantage. I’d rather pair Palmer and a true outside winner. I think Palmer has the ability feast on most cb2 in our system.
  5. I hear ya. If the rumors are true about the saints trying to resign him, as you said, we might have to make them an offer they can’t refuse. I really hope we don’t trade a 1st for a 1 year rental. Maybe a 2nd and Keon for a olave and a 5th could get it done
  6. Interesting info. Thanks for posting Just interested in what would your game plan be if we traded for olave? Give up a 1st and more and sign him to a 27-30M extension? I’d be down as he’s just what we need on the field, but there’s a lot of risk with him. 5 documented concussions going back to college. It would be Beanes biggest all in move. Would be a shame if it ends up like Von Miller. With our big investment on the sideline when it matters. Big roll of the dice with olave but there’s boom potential should get us a Lombardi
  7. I agree with all of this but the bolded I feel a little different this season after watching the defense play 6 games. I don’t know if it fixable. I think it’s likely that we’ll give up 30+ when the seasons on the line and we’ll have to score 35+ every playoff game to have a chance. Hairston will need to start and play well come December for me to change my mind on this. I do think that Hoecht and maybe Larry O) will make some plays and have a positive impact while also getting some improvement from sanders and walker. I don’t know if those factors will be able to make up for the play of the LBers and safeties. Let’s be real, it’ll probably be Shaq and Dorian as our LBers come playoffs as Milano and Bernard are likely to be injured. Rapp is the worst starter on the team and it’ll probably be Poyer or Hancock out there with bishop. Will trading for a S or LB fix our D? If Hairston isn’t ready, do we trade for a corner and hope that he will step in and make a difference? Or is the biggest problem our drop coverage which hands the opposition first downs? if there’s a burner X that can get open, I’d rather roll the dice in that direction to open up our offense. While I do agree that losing Palmer and Kincaid had huge impact on our O last game, I think adding another outside separator would only enhance both guys. Look to score 35+ every playoff game, this defense might not be able to get there unless we make a handful of improvements in scheme and talent
  8. We can fail to get the 1 seed, finish 2nd in the division and win. Super Bowl. I think the pats will lose 3 more game max. it’s week 7. We may continue to have a rough patch until we figure some things out scheme wise and get some guys back/make a trade/s. I won’t be discouraged until I see how we play in December. That version of the team is all that matters.
  9. lol. Not only was he not great, but he was bad. The disconnect is that one group is instantly triggered every time someone puts even an ounce of blame on 17. The OL sucked, we were missing our 2 best route runners, we’ve forgotten about throwing the ball to James Cook and kept him off the field at crucial times. And Josh sucked partially due to all the above. You didn’t understand my post i agree. I think our DL has been our best unit on D by far. I agree- the secondary is trash and the safeties are even worse. our vaunted DB whisperer seems to be losing his abilities.
  10. And Josh played his worst game in over a year because he couldn’t decipher the blitzes well enough and made poor decisions throughout.
  11. Crazy how this seems to be the case 9/10 times we blitz lol. I mean, that polar bear is white, you know what I mean?
  12. The falcons d is bigger and more physical? 🤦🏻‍♂️
  13. Agreed. I want to say good bye to McDermotts defense. It’s as if it can only function with a good pass rush, 2 great coverage LBers, 2 good corners and 2 all pro safeties…..
  14. While I thought the ball could’ve had slightly better placement. I place the majority of the incompletion on Shakir. I think some others (even on this team) could’ve made the play. he did play like crap. It’s on the QB to recognize and deal with the blitz. He failed miserably in that regard….vs a team that led the league in blitzes. Part on Brady too.
  15. 💯 I saw plenty of film that showed he made bad decisions with the ball, held the ball and threw a handful of bad passes.
