Greg Daniels is on on this show so yes feels like The Office but not an exact wannabe but many similar elements. CBS is coming out with a show called DMV which might be more Office like but only saw a preview so far and waiting on a full episode.

Esmeralda is an over dramatic woman who trying to get her boss fired. Think Jan with mix of Dwight and Michael. She's portrayed by the woman who played the hotel manager in the 2nd season of White Lotus. She is a tad annoying but I don't hate her yet as I'm only 4 episodes in. Many of the characters feel like a mix of characters from the Office and of course seem to going down same slippery slope we saw them take. The humor is really dry but got better as know the characters better.

I'd give them love and respect if they weren't crapping on Buffalo. All I heard was there's nothing to do here etc. I agree NY City better in that they have a far superior public transportation system and many more things than Buffalo but there's like 5 cities in the world that would be close to NY City has to offer so I felt the slight on Buffalo uncalled for.

When I was at UB (Fall of 1996-2000) I'd run into them in class and call them all "City Folk" due to how much they loved "The City". I even remember getting a letter published in the The Spectrum to offer up my opinion about them.

An under rated gem of a restaurant close by is The Place and less than a 15 minute drive from your hotel. Service is great and with the weather still being warm I recommend an after dark dinner with one of the fire pits. Most teams prefer kicking in the return zone so kicking it to or out of the end zone not necessary. As starting at the 35 puts the defense in a much tougher spot to avoid giving up points.

I'll admit I was a fan of the Office from the start and not sure of this. I saw the previews and was really concerned. I streamed episode 1 and was feeling ok about it but not rushing to see episode 2 but let it run. I'll have to rewatch it as still not sure. Maybe it feels like missing the heart of The Office or subtle jokes that got me laughing hard. Thoughts?

I had to be up at 330am this morning as my dad is having open heart surgery. I went to bed at half time with mixed feelings. Of course I woke up and had to look at my phone. It was right after the Keon TD. I couldn't watch on TV would have woken the house but watched through play by play on The Score. I saw the Henry fumble and recovery and thought that's when we'd tie in with the TD and 2 pter. Shocked at missing the 2 pter and amazed we held them to the 3 and out after. Then seeing us easily march down the field to get in FG range. I got nervous though as on 3rd down with 24 seconds left, after it finished it said Josh kneeled down and was no clock and game ended with us down 2. I was mentally screaming what happened? And was super angry. Then it happened ,the app fixed it self and showed final play of Prater's FG was good. I was so happy but sad I couldn't see it live. I'm DVRing the NFL network to watch once out of hospital.

In the end it's better he didn't as killed more clock.
