  1. I don't know. I felt that OJ was guilty and hurts being the respect I had for him prior but it goes on to show that celebrities shouldn't be idolized without truly knowing them as people.
  2. Like many I grew up loving OJ for his ties with the Bills and was shocked by the unfortunate events that lead to the loss of Nicole and Ron but after to evidence was presented he was guilty in my mind. I became upset that a hero had fallen. I then got more angered when a jury seemingly let a guilty man free. Yet have no ill will to OJ for the verdict which some want to hold onto. I can separate the athlete from the person and thank OJ for what he did on the field but never forgive him for what happened afterwards.
  3. What motive would Jason have?
  4. Reich hand a handful of moments but come on man Diggs was far more consistent and contributed more on the field week in and week out. It's like those that those calling for Tasker a HOFer, sorry impactful yes but not in enough games.
  5. Because he hasn't signed yet is all I can guess.
  6. Maybe Dallas doesn't want to compete with them, I'm just glad they aren't going to Hamilton.
  7. He wasn't even the alpha at LSU, while he offers a lot in terms of height and speed he seems limited to certain route that take advantage of his speeds. He kind of reminds me of Alvin Harper in Dallas who when moved on to Tampa to be a #1 he didn't live up to the billing. While I love his skill set I do have reservations. Ultimately I'd stand pat at 28 and see what fell to me, as am okay if we take Legette at 28, or Chop or Darius Robinson or Newton and then look at a WR in Round 2. As we have a few holes to fill and even without Diggs I don't think WR is the worth reaching for if other quality prospects fall.
  8. Difference was Philly's guy was arguably the most talented player in his draft class and fell a few spots down because of some off the field issues. Similar to Warren Sapp. Sweat on the other hand at best is a 2nd Round pick but might fall the mid 3rd to 4th because of this.
  9. Most likely in a cubicle with no windows close by, talking to customers maybe catching the coverage on a near by tv if not distracted with the call I'm on.
  10. I'm sure Higgins will be. Unless Cincy gets Chase locked up long term before hand and franchise tags Higgins again.
  11. The Raiders are always a team to surprise. Xavier Worthy seems an obvious connection since they love speed. They might also take a QB.
  12. I think we need an eventual replacement for Da'Quan Jones that can't take later than Round 2. We also need to shore up some depth in the secondary and at RB which to me more important than getting two WRs. I'm okay getting one in the first 2 rounds but not both.
  13. I see Brown as a poor man's Gabe Davis. Yet he did show he could do more when Dell and Collins missed time.
  14. We'd still have to clear $10 million to add him. I get were getting that close to that on June 1 yet the draft is in April. We might do a Round 1/6 double down like did with Elam/Benford but suspect the 2nd guy would be more of a return type guy aka 4th/5th roster guy.
  15. Na, I wish we got Noah Brown from Houston in the Diggs trade though.
  16. I I voted Kris Jenkins. He has some experience as a 1 tech although it might not be his best position I think he's too good to pass up and definitely fit in our rotation system.
  17. Winning the AFC East in 4 of his 5 seasons here. Trading Ryan Bates to a team that tried to get him for nothing. Let's see Josh Allen, James Cook, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, Tyson Brown, O'Cyrus Torrence, Greg Rousseau, Ed Oliver, Terrell Bernard, Taron Johnson, Christian Benford. Getting a replacement for an injured Tre White along with a draft pick in a trade. Re-signing Josh Allen, Da'Quan Jones, Matt Milano, Dion Dawkins to below market deals. That's just for starters...
  18. I know just playing Devil's advocate.
  19. but you put a big hole at your WR1 position and a using $32 million against the cap this year for a 2nd round pick in next year's draft.
  20. The only issue is his going to a new team, a new offense, a new QB, new guys to compete with for targets. Ideally he comes in and is the alpha dog he's been most of his career and has another top 5 season to allow him to find a bigger deal or sign wherever he wants next year. Yet what happens if the pasture isn't green on this side or he gets hurt? He's betting on himself which I'd say usually a good thing based on his history yet way his season ended last season and all new things coming up in 2024 he might end up making a mistake. As the saying goes, only time will tell.
