Suspensions on veterans that were added to improve the defense etc. etc. etc. As we've seen in the past injuries are big reason this team has yet to take that next step. It's not like we haven't tried to improve depth as we can rattle off tons of guys signed that are now on other teams or out of the league as weren't good enough. All we can do is try and try again. .

Rousseau isn't an edge rusher, he's a hold the point of attack to keep LB clean to make tackles/deflect balls and on occasion move the QB from the pocket and or get a clean up sack as needed. Bottoming out would do a lot to help this team yet I can't see it happening, we're too talented to do something like that.
