  1. I agree. I live in San Diego and Tony Gwynn Jr. has a radio show here. He always calls Josh "Brett Favre" with superior physical ability. I'm starting to think it an apt comparison.
  2. Took a lot of attempts to get there. He finished 30th in ypa.
  3. Dude. He threw 733 passes this season. That's where all those yards came from. He was 18th in quarterback rating, 18th in QBR, and 30th in yards per attempt. He is a very mediocre quarterback at this stage of his career and he's got nowhere to go but down given his advanced age.
  4. Somewhere in the middle of his record setting run I came to respect him and accept that he was truly great regardless of how I felt about him torturing me as a Bills fan. That won't change when he retires. He's got a bit of an insufferable dork vibe that makes me think he wouldn't be the most fun guy to golf or slam beers with, but I think he's probably alright in real life. And now that he's suffered through his divorce, it humanizes him a bit more in my eyes.
  5. Agree with the OP and just goes to show you how thin the margin is between a win and loss, or a nail biter and a blowout in the NFL.
  6. We sucked today. It's okay. We don't have to make excuses or rationalize it by comparing it to the performances of other teams. The Bengals sucked too. The good thing is we both advanced and get to duke it out next week.
  7. Harbaugh and Staley should be booking their flights to Thailand right now.
  8. WTF are the Ravens doing? Harbaugh sucks.
  9. I agree. I doubt they called that. It was supposed to be a sneak and push. Huntley just made an idiotic play.
  10. It ain't easy to win in the playoffs. Every one of these games is illustrating that point.
  11. When it was 24-20 and we were punting the ball away, we were literally dead in the water. Zero momentum. Zero luck to that point. All three units totally out of sync. That was the gutcheck moment of the season. They somehow pulled a Lazarus and made just enough plays to pull it out and prevent a monumental upset. That took some cajones.
  12. And exactly no one here believes that to be the case.
  13. We came out with our hair on fire, but I think the overrule on the third score (Knox drop) immediately followed by Bass kicking it OOB, just sort of took the air out of the balloon and opened up Pandora's Sloppy Ass Football Box like we've seen on a handful of occasions this season. By the time we got reengaged and into the game again, the Fins had tied the game and really believed they could win and we were in hold on for dear life mode. I'm just relieved that we escaped and will get to play one more week. Anything can happen from here on out, but I do agree with the OP that I'm very very concerned about the front four against Cincy or KC. We will have to play very clean football on offense and win some shootouts the next two weeks if we want a SB.
  14. Nothing is going our way. Crazy
  15. Lack of time outs is gonna cost us.
  16. Unbelievably stupid. Deserve to lose this game.
  17. Agreed. We've outgained them by 160 yards. If Shakir doesn't drop that ball it's 24-9 at halftime.
  18. As long as it doesn't last for more than four hours then you'll be fine.
  19. Dolphins brought friggin 7 men on that 3rd and 15. Nuts.
