  1. Who cares about the fans? The Spanos's already had their money! Also, didn't mean the stadium comment as a dig on you Inigo. I just wanted to make fun of Gruden.
  2. Woohoo! Let's just cancel the rest of the season right now and throw the Power Rankings parade in downtown Buffalo!
  3. these guys are paid for their ability to talk out of their arses nonstop. he'll be saying the same thing about Allen when he's calling his game. Also, it's not a domed stadium. It's a covered, open-aired, stadium. Lightning could still easily enter the field and remains dangerous, but the rest of the elements are kept out. It's pretty easy to understand if you're not a moron like Gruden.
  4. I think he's a dadgum idiot and emotionally fragile crybaby, but I appreciate the guy as a football player and I'd never boo him on the field. Anyone who's ever played sports knows there's guys on your team that you don't like personally or disagree with their lifestyle or whatever, but when it comes to pulling together to defeat the opposition during competition, you've always got their back. That's how I view Beasley. Still cheer my heart out for him on Sundays, but I've got zero desire to grab a beer with him. Lol.
  5. Michael Vick and Randall Cunningham are probably the only other two guys in NFL history that could make a play like that. That was jaw-dropping.
  6. Much ado about nothing. Guy was drunk and a young woman got a little freaky on him on a stool. He was pretty darn passive through the whole thing. I'm not fan of the man, but this pearl clutching is over the top.
  7. Yes. Herbert was better as a rookie than Josh was as a rookie. But that's not the comparison that matters. It's about who is better right now. Even with all those stats you posted, Josh still had a better head to head year than Herbert last year. Higher completion %, more TDs, more yards, more 300+ yard games (9), higher QBR, more regular season wins and two playoff victories.
  8. Herbert is very Josh Allen-like, no doubt. Similar arms, but Herbert is more accurate. Josh carries more swag and is special as a runner in a way that Herbert lacks (though, he's no slouch either). I like our guy a little more based on intangibles and personality, but it's not as if a legitimate argument can't be made for taking Herbert.
  9. Chargers are for real. Super balanced team. Great defense and a balanced offense. Staley was a great hire too. Glad we avoid them during the regular season.
  10. Frank Clark has been injured and didn't play the last two weeks. But yes, this game is winnable. Our defense has improved and theirs has taken a step back. Just comes down to whether Josh can stay cool and play a good game.
  11. Maddy is fine, but a little boring. She has her place as the third wheel doing her regular segments, but I miss Steve. Hope everything is okay on his end.
  12. Good stuff as always and an interesting perspective on Allen in point #8. Seems like it can be "all or none" with Josh sometimes.
  13. JC, this dumb@zz is such a drama queen who clearly loves the attention he's getting. All this dumb@zz had to do back in training camp is say, "I believe medical decisions should be left up to the individual. I have chosen not to receive the COVID vaccine at this time. I want to thank the Buffalo Bills and the NFL for respecting each player's decision on this issue. This is the last comment I will make regarding my vaccination status. I can't wait to kickoff the regular season and help lead this team to the Super Bowl."
  14. The joke is that for many fans their defacto kneejerk reaction for any player's headscratching behavior is to yell CTE. But I agree, CTE itself is obviously no joke.
  15. Just how many of the "What's up with [insert player's name]?" threads are we going to have? I'd hate to see what the board would look like if we had stopped scoring when it was 26-0.
  16. I don't have a problem with it. All great receivers want the ball and are typically vocal about it. I don't agree with Beas's political/vax stance, but he's a hell of a football player who we need to be at his best to have this offense really humming. I have no doubt that he'll bounce back with a solid game against KC.
  17. I love our guys and these are huge margins of victory, but these are bottom barrel toilet bowl teams we are playing. Like our 6 game winning streak in 2004.
  18. I have buddies who used to do this every home game. Group of maybe 25-30 of my high school friends and only about half had tickets. I remember my wife getting really tipsy and not wanting to leave the party. I basically carried her into the stadium near the end of the second quarter and she slept the entire second half in her seat. Tailgating for 3-4 hours with friends was better than being in the stadium for most of the drought years.
  19. As a dorky 42 year old white guy who used to wear JNCO jeans that exposed my boxers as a teen, I approve of this line up.
  20. I remember getting to our seats and there was about a foot of ice on them. My Dad brought two Thermoses full of hot chocolate, but neither of us wanted to take our gloves off to open them. Our section all just sort of huddled together and barely moved the entire game. And I'm pretty sure the week (or maybe two weeks) before against the Jets was the previous coldest game in Buffalo history. My Mom took my Grandfather in one of the luxury suites, while Dad and I sat outside in our season tix. It was frigid and I remember going up to visit my Mom and Grandpa at halftime and my Mom was complaining that the suite was so cold (it was like 65*) she had to put on her sweater. That comment didn't go over real well with me and Dad...lol.
  21. I can't wait to read about how much Allen, McDermott and Pegula hated each other 20 years from now after we've won 6 Super Bowls.
  22. That's what I thought as well. Sanders reminds me a lot of Lofton at the same stage. Older, stretch the field type, who can maybe take our offense to the next level as a true #2 wideout opposite our star do-it-all #1.
  23. I was at pretty much every home game from 1987-1994, but one of the few I missed was the comeback game. I had strep, so my parents had to leave me at home. Another great game (for the atmosphere) was the 2002 home game against the Dolphins where Ricky Williams ran for 200+ yards and the Bills stormed back as blizzard-like conditions whipped in during the second half. That was my wife's first Bills game (she's a SoCal girl and had never been to Buffalo before). Just a perfect way to introduce someone to the Buffalo Bills experience.
  24. I was 9 at the time and there with my folks. Just remember the rain and the feeling that this couldn't really be happening, that the Bills were actually going to win the division and host a playoff game. Obviously, my parents had the good sense not to allow me down on the field, but I remember watching with glee as the posts came down. Also, I remember becoming a huge Scott Norwood fan. I spent the next two weeks kicking field goals over the fence in my driveway.
  25. The second TD against the Phins was crazy violent, I'll give you that, but he had plenty of "tough run" moments as a rook. See the back to back plays against the Donkeys starting at the 5:00 minute mark.
