  1. Here you go. I've been many times. Good folks. In Pacific Beach. http://www.sdbillsbackers.com/?fbclid=IwAR1nfrrGgIoWR1FpomwxK4btSDEyrquQP457LhyxEG3V37IiMfHYsOxU1VQ
  2. I've lived in SF, LA, DC and SD, eaten at plenty of fine restaurants and the Left Bank's food stacks up. Nice atmosphere too.
  3. Haven't bothered reading the thread, but just...NO. NO NO NO NO NO.
  4. Most of the national pundits are riding our jock at the moment, so it makes sense to grab some attention by going against the grain and picking against us, especially since our rabid fan base will go nuts and give them the clicks and comments they're seeking. I woke up this morning and Mike Clay of ESPN had us ranked #8 in his power rankings, and I was like, "WTF is this guy an idiot?". My heart rate elevated, my face turned red, and then I realized he won...lol.
  5. He's more like Hercules, a demigod.
  6. Desean Watson is a much more apt Brett Favre comparison.
  7. I do worry our lack of speed could become an issue. And looking at our top 4 WRs and top 2 RBs, you can see why McBeane kept Breida and Stevenson (along with McKenzie). Those are really the only guys who can threaten a defense with pure speed.
  8. Hmmmnn. They've got a great group of TE's and a nice stable of RBs. Good defense too. I mean I still think we win the division, but I expect the Pats to make the playoffs if Mac Jones plays average ball. You are selling Harris short. 700 yards in 10 games and a 5.0 ypc. He's a top tier runner. And Stevenson has looked great in preseason. They'll make Jones's life much easier. Just run play action off that.
  9. My wife said the same thing to me before she moved in with my best friend.
  10. I've got my fingers crossed for you! I was diagnosed with bone cancer in 1988, right at the beginning of our great run, and watching the Bills and being there in Rich Stadium during those years, albeit bald and sickly, definitely helped me make it through a couple of tough years as a kid. Let this current team be a similar respite for you during this time (should you need it).
  11. I was the same way for basically a decade, but the recent success of the Bills and fantasy football has sucked me back in. I still don't watch any of the national media peripheral stuff (pregame, daily/weekly ESPN/NFLN talkshows, etc.). But the football itself is fun to watch now that the Bills are good, and, just generally, there is a ton of great young QB and WR talent to watch around the league.
  12. I watch a bunch. I may not watch the entire game, but I'll check out pretty much every nationally televised game that impacts the Bills, along with most night games (assuming the matchup isn't putrid).
  13. Agree with you guys. He'll be back.
  14. I like what I've seen from Mac. He's going to do a very good job of running that offense and moving the chains with that running game. That's two very tough games on the schedule IMO.
  15. Cam has been thoroughly washed up for 2+ years. I'm surprised the Pats gave him as much rope as they did. This is definitely the right move for them, and I'm sure Cam will find at least one more team willing to kick the tires on him before he bows out of the league.
  16. Another great post, Shaw66. I enjoy pretty much everyone here in our little community, but your writing and insight is by far the number one reason I keep coming back. I hope these Bills deliver you multiple (legitimate) Super Bowl Champions t-shirts in your golden years. 👍
  17. I don't see Josh throwing double digit picks this year. I think we see something like 40-45 TDs and 7-8 INTs.
  18. I hope Watson rots on the bench for the Texans. He doesn't deserve a happy ending in Florida.
  19. Maybe, but I wouldn't rate Flores too highly yet. They didn't really beat anyone of note last year on their way to 10 wins. So, AFC East has one HOF coach, a really good young coach and a potentially good young coach. The AFC Central, AFC West and NFC South each have two Super Bowl winning coaches, so those divisions aren't the easiest to be stuck in as a 1st year head coach either.
  20. Thanks! I always wondered when I'd finally get to use the *vomit* emoji.
  21. Don't worry guys. Beane's just clearing out some space and using Carolina to hold Johnson for us for awhile. He'll trade the 6th rounder back to Carolina a few weeks down the road if we end up needing Bam Johnson.
  22. Hate to say it, but Jones and that Pats running game look really good. They will be a problem this year. It was nice to have a year where the rest of the division sucked. Lol
  23. The great thing is that Josh could have actually played better. It seemed like a pretty average performance from him and it accounted for 200 yards and two touchdowns in a single half of football.
  24. No. I don't think that's it at all. Minshew was outplayed by C.J. Beathard in preseason and camp, and Beathard has plenty of starting experience in the league. He's a quality player. Jax didn't need to keep both of them. Might as well get something for Minshew.
