  1. Josh Allen is now 8-5 in games he starts and finishes, and has won his last 4. Including the season-ending win vs. Miami Allen's passing statistics are: 83/129 (64.3%) for 974 yards (7.5 ypa) with 6 TDs and 4 INTs, and throw in another 4 rushing TDs. Nobody was more disappointed by the pick yesterday than I was, but EVERY Bills fan should be uber-excited about the fact we appear to have a bonafide franchise-caliber starting QB on this team -- and Allen still hasn't started a full season's worth of games. THAT is my observation/takeaway from the 3-0 start.
  2. No, but I remember a week THREE matchup between the 2-0 Bills and 2-0 Pats*** in Buffalo in 2011 -- the last time the Bills started the season 3-0. But to your point -- it's true that nobody really expects the Bills win this game or the line wouldn't be where it is. I was saying to friends yesterday during the 4th quarter that while I was disappointed in Allen's gaffe that let Cinci back in the game, this is exactly the sort of win the team needs heading in to Pats*** week. Any euphoria about being 3-0 was squashed and they know they have work to do. It was a very good lesson for a team learning how to win (and how not to lose). I'm confident they will be very well prepared for the Pats*** on Sunday. That doesn't guarantee anything other than I don't believe it will be a laugher and they should have an opportunity in the 4th -- if Josh can keep a lid on the turnover can.
  3. Josh is a work in progress. Those who don’t understand that will continue to be frustrated by the inevitable valleys that come with the incredible peaks. We saw both today.
  4. Frank Gore was very good last week. I’m sorry you can’t see that. He’s not a problem. Go Bills
  5. These two teams aren’t very good.
  6. Exactly. The scouting report on Josh coming into this season was take away the deep ball and take away the scramble. So far in the first two games he has flipped the script and shown he can work the short and intermediate stuff. Good luck defensive coordinators.
  7. So stop right now, because trap games don't exist.
  8. The guy on the right is a douche. "I do not eat crow until after Christmas."
  9. Except we didn't. 10 pass plays to 4 run plays called in the 3rd quarter. Pre-snap penalties and a huge Knox drop stifled the Bills' offense, not conservative play-calling. Do you guys who love to complain even watch the game?
  10. Anyone who doesn't actually watch football games and bases all opinions on recent history/memory will presume the Bills got "lucky" in their first two and still stink. That's fine. What will be interesting is to hear what those same people say when they are 7-1.
  11. Miami might not score more than 10 points in a single game all season.
  12. Until I read that Brady needs a new spleen I'm not taking any of this seriously.
  13. Well, this news obviously stinks (if the injury is severe) but if there's any silver lining it has been the strong overall play of Lee Smith, Knox, and Sweeney. They played well without Kroft for the first two weeks and I'm guessing they'll be prepared to play the next fourteen.
  14. Absolutely, and that's the way I like it. Nobody wants to hear Belichick's interviews either for the same reason. It's always going to be the same thing.
  15. I haven't laughed that hard at a Youtube video in a long time. That was awesome.
  16. Fingers crossed, brother...fingers crossed.
  17. Someone doesn't know how Twitter works.
  18. Even when the Bills are crappy they still usually win 3-4 at home. Bottom line is that a road win is a big win in this league.
  19. I've got to stick up for my TSW brother @ScottLaw here...it's not nice to call him names.
  20. One of my least favorite combos but who cares as long as they win.
  21. You must persevere, no matter the obstacles. Be strong.
  22. I think these are both reasonable ways to view the situation, although I don't know if it took "ballz" to be Pancho the fan; he was just a little crazy. The media love to glom on to these "crazed fan" stories (like Fireman Ed) and then Pancho's cancer made it a more personal story. It's no skin off my teeth for the Bills to recognize Pancho, and I don't think there's anything "big" to be made of the fact Jim Kelly didn't meet him.
  23. Mmm...fried bologna sandwich. Gonna have to try that.
