  1. I'm a Bills fan who thinks it's ok to dislike Gilmore for his seeming disinterest his last season in Buffalo, and also to recognize he is an elite CB. If the Bills had paid to keep Gilmore they wouldn't have drafted White, and who knows what would have happened from there? As it turns out, the Bills got a guy who is both an elite CB and an engaging, charismatic individual who obviously loves being in Buffalo. I'd say both teams are ok with the end results.
  2. LOL fair enough, but the prospect of going into a game with Gore as the featured back and a rookie TE playing his 4th game wouldn't have given me much confidence in making them the focal point of the gameplan either.
  3. 3rd down Josh is almost as good as 4th quarter Josh. They're both studs though.
  4. At that point I'll give him a bit of a pass since all of the offensive pieces were so new (and he had no Singletary or Kroft). After 14 weeks I'm hoping he has a good idea of what they need to do.
  5. Man, you've got to think McD and Daboll know this...right?
  6. I'd like to see the delta b/t explosive plays for and explosive plays against. I bet the Bills are top 5 leaguewide.
  7. I dig the GMFB crew on NFLN. They really seem to try to give every story/team/player the attention they deserve. They have talked about Buffalo all season long.
  8. Thin skinned? I'm stating a case that Collinsworth has a bias against Josh Allen. It's obvious to most who watched and listened. Doesn't "affect" me either way, just stating facts. I think Collinsworth is a douche because of his personality.
  9. I am not "sensitive" -- I am merely pointing out that Collinsworth has a bias against Josh Allen and will take any opportunity to confirm that bias. I don't like him as an analyst, PERIOD, because he panders to certain interests and is not particularly enlightening. I have watched very little SNF because of that fact. I was forced to listen to him this past weekend because my favorite team was playing. Yes, he said many nice things about the defense, the coach, John Brown, and the GM, but the only thing he wanted to say about Josh was to point out his problems. Case in point -- why did Collinsworth not say anything regarding Josh's 4th quarter QB rating and comebacks? That would have been great stuff, and perfectly appropriate under the circumstances. Once again, you have gone so 180 degrees away from being a "fan" that you yourself are overly sensitive when fans take umbrage with how the team or its' players are characterized by the media.
  10. It was solid QB play. Josh looked left at the trips set to pull defenders away, then came back and fired a bullet right on Kroft's chest. There was no reason for the analyst doing the game not to comment on how Josh was effective.
  11. I just re-watched the sequence leading up to and following the Bills' go-ahead TD, and anyone who doesn't think Collinsworth has an axe to grind about Josh just wasn't paying attention. On 2nd and 9 from the 15 Collinsworth waxes poetic about how "so many teams try to come to Pittsburgh and win the game; you have to "not lose" the game..." Just before the TD pass on 3rd down: "I don't think you're gonna see the Bills being crazy aggressive...they love their defense, they would love a lead right now in the 4th quarter." After the TD pass, Collinsworth says nothing other than "go figure" and then recaps the routes run by the Bills. At NO time does he credit Allen with the perfectly thrown pass to Kroft. Watch it yourself. Collinsworth is a douche.
  12. Well, we've gone from "just happy to be here" to demanding specific time slots in a hurry, haven't we!
  13. @Socal-805 stop embarrassing yourself. It's hard to watch. I have no idea why I read this and thought it said porn queen.
  14. I'm very emboldened by the fact that the Bills have gone 2-1 since they began their late season "gauntlet" of opponents (@DAL, BAL, @PIT, @NE***). If they defeat the Pats*** next week, or even if they play another one possession game there, it's time to put BBFS to rest once and for all.
  15. The Sabres are playing quite well right now. Things are looking up for both franchises.
  16. LOL. Collinsworth's company is PFF, and they have a vested interest in Josh Allen not being a legitimate starter in the NFL. It was so obvious. That five minute "analysis" of Josh's interception was mind-numbing. I've never seen anything like it.
  17. I love it. I'm in NC and wore my Bills ugly Christmas sweater to a work event at Drive Shack (a Top Golf wannabe) on Friday and a random dude walked up to me, fist-bumped, and said "Bills Mafia, baby!" We're back.
  18. Maybe I'm a stickler but I don't consider last week a "nationally televised" game as to me that implies it's the only game on at the time. This week and next week certainly are, however.
  19. Anyone who actually cared to know the origin of Bills Mafia in the first place knows it’s not about the table-smashing antics. I’m always surprised when supposed fans of the team don’t know that.
  20. 10-8 but should be 9-9 or at the worst 9.5-8.5...inexcusable for Thomas/Fowler to blow a 5-up lead with 8 holes to play. They lost the last three holes to halve the match. Singles day today...Tiger going off first for the US at 6 p.m. (EST)
