Why do some feel the incessant need to compare teams from different organizations and different years? Each year and each team face different circumstances and are made up of different players and coaches. I hear ya, but one would think the gameplan was to run on the Fish and Smith/DiMarco fit into that sort of plan (theoretically). I think it was more the fact that they went tempo and kept Miami from making substitutions by keeping the same personnel in the game. Regardless, the offense functioned well.

As others have noted, he was placed on IR for a neck injury. I happened to be watching his last game and he was absolutely DRILLED by a defender on the final play of the game. After that game he trashed the coaching staff, and the next day he went on IR. The timing of the two events is a convenient coincidence but I do believe he was/is hurt.

I disagree, the Bills were actually playing aggressively and not sitting on a 10-pt lead with most of the 4th quarter remaining. I’d wager it had zero to do with Daboll calling coverages for him. Good god, the conspiracy theories some will reach for around here.
