  1. Others have already responded but Anderson is a better player than Perriman. And as for surrounding their QB with talent...the Jets gave Darnold Anderson, Crowder, Bell...if people start claiming Darnold "hasn't been given a chance" to explain why Allen is having more success I'm going to call b.s.
  2. This is another one of those "not everyone should be able to start new posts" examples, I hate to say...
  3. RIP. @YoloinOhio, you can't possibly have meant to laugh at the OP?
  4. I'm willing to bet Beane isn't one of the guys begging for postponement.
  5. ScottLaw loves it. J-E-T-S, Jets! Jets! Jets!
  6. I'll go ahead and say it here -- if you follow the NFL and you don't believe the Bills are a legitimate contender in 2020, you're really not paying much attention. The writers who have me shaking my head are the ones who continue to predict the Pats*** will win the East or that the Fish are primary contenders. The Pats*** have huge question marks throughout their roster and while the Fish have been active, they're still relying upon Fitzmagic (or perhaps a rookie). The Chiefs, Ravens, Bills, and Titans are the best-positioned clubs entering this season in the AFC. I believe Tannehill will revert back to the mean and scuttle the Titans' chances, but he brings continuity until further notice. I also believe Lamar won't ever duplicate last season now that teams have good tape of how to slow him down (Bills, Titans). Which leaves us with the Chiefs and Bills.
  7. I know. Just responded to the last post, which was you responding to someone who complained about the signing.
  8. I may not have posted it on this board, but I've told others that the 24 ppg mark as an offense is my benchmark. I have no concerns whatsoever about the defense provided there are no catastrophic injuries. If the Bills can average at least 24 ppg this season they will win 12. The Bills are now capable of putting out 11 personnel that rivals anything in the league -- and that's Daboll's favorite personnel grouping. When (not if) Josh shows he has continued to develop, this offense will take off.
  9. I think it's obvious to anyone with a brain that the Bills aren't "committed" to McKenzie after re-signing him to a 1-year cheap-as-dirt contract, but he was productive at times and it's possible he develops further. I don't understand folks who are critical of contracts like these because they are easily terminated at minimal loss to the team. It's literally a no-risk deal for the Bills to bring back a guy familiar with the offense who has some skills and fits the culture.
  10. Along with the rest of the league.
  11. I could see the Jags bringing him in.
  12. LOL you just mentioned three 1st rounders...not quite the same as a raw 7th round prospect. But that was the point of the thread -- what do others think about Johnson's potential.
  13. Just noticed he will only turn 23 this April. Obviously was a raw prospect last year, but surprised everyone by making the final roster as a 7th round pick. Do we think he has a chance to become a legitimate part of the DE rotation this season? McD's thoughts on that would certainly impact how the Bills are looking at the rest of FA and the draft. Gotta think the kid has been a workout warrior over the past 12 months, turning that kid's body into NFL-readiness. Thoughts?
  14. Bad reporting by the NY Post, is all it is. Mods, feel free to close.
  15. Yeah, just looked it up. Those are the terms of the extension he signed w/ Minnesota in 2018. Closing thread.
  16. From this NY Post article linked on front page: The Bills and Vikings eventually agreed on Buffalo sending a first-, fifth- and sixth-round pick in 2020 and a fourth-round pick in 2011 for Diggs and a seventh-rounder. Diggs then ended up agreeing to a five-year extension worth $72 million and $40 million in guaranteed money with the Bills, who made the playoffs after second-place finish in the AFC East last season. Huh? ?
  17. The only reason the Pegulas could purchase both the Sabres and Bills is because they took the indoor lacrosse Bandits as a throw-in. Everybody knows this.
  18. @Rk_Bills86 -- click your own link. I went to Spotrac before I even posted. The Bills have 27M under the cap with their Top 51, but that doesn't include the ST pickup from the Steelers (Matakevich). He's definitely a T51 guy. Also doesn't include Taiwan Jones or Dean Marlowe. I'd guess they have about 22M or so at this point.
  19. What do you mean? Don't bring Robbie Gould into this discussion.
  20. Only thing that worries me with this guy is his injury history (and the fact he's recovering from a Jones fracture). Otherwise, I love it.
  21. Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. With this color palette you can at least see the Ram horn in the swoosh...the hat is hideous. Didn't need to do this but whatever.
  22. Or every year. It's an inside joke among the regulars here. All good, brother!
  23. They also have Ed "Rutowski" playing E. Copy editing wasn't their strong suit, apparently.
