    In 2013 Flacco had one of the best QB postseasons in NFL history. It was ridiculous. And they still almost blew it against the Niners. Harbaugh gets far too much leeway because of that one SB win.

    When did the Ravens become the ‘85 Bears? To read this board the Bills are overmatched and don’t even have a chance unless “the refs help us.” Good grief. How many Super Bowls has Baltimore been to with Lamar? Why doesn’t Harbaugh get the same grief McD gets when he hasn’t done diddly since 2013 with these great rosters?

    Yes, we have to draft one of each as well, but I don't give it a second's thought other than to see who the W1 opponent is.

    I hate taking up two roster positions with a defense. There is always something available on a given week that's playing a crappy offense -- there are a lot of crappy offenses in the NFL.

    I never even think about drafting defense; I stream my defenses week-to-week based upon the opponent.

    Threads like these (the posts, not the attire) remind me that it’s likely most of the guys posting in here wouldn’t know style if it slapped them in the face. Did you want them to come out in chicken wing helmets with Niagara Falls running down the back of the jerseys and a beef on weck between the numerals?

    If their owner can keep himself from meddling (unlikely) I think they have a good coach in Canales, and Young seemed to take a significant step forward in the latter part of the year.

    Great, another thinly veiled thread to trash McDermott. Such an ignorant take, but unfortunately all too common among the “Super Bowl or failure” crowd. There’s really only one playoff game under McD in which the Bills came out flat (Cinci), and against KC they simply haven’t gotten the same breaks as their opponent.

    I said could, not would, and I understand what you’re saying, but I do think several would have a decent shot at unseating starters in this league.

    Bass had “pelvic soreness” not a groin injury, and I don’t think carrying a K on the PS is a very good use of that tool. There are plenty of kickers out there who can get ready in a week if somebody gets hurt.

    It’s not surprising to me…unless he was a lights-out returner I always had difficulty envisioning his role on this team. I guess he’s kinda fast, but what does he give the offense that is unique?

    I haven’t reviewed preseason film nor have I heard any analysis of Cod’s reps on D this summer. I know that for the little bit of preseason I watched it wasn’t him looking like a piece of burnt toast out there. He’s only a second year player and it’s very possible the Bills like him as a developmental prospect as well.

    Well, I guess we disagree there. The very reason I thought he’d make the 53 is because he is a great STer who can also fill a backup role on D.
