I think he's drafted pretty well at DT. Who don't you like? -

D line or DT's? I'm trying to follow your saying. -

Friend of mine went to SC. Said he's a monster DT and we'll love him. Constantly in the back field and scouts are dumb for not getting him in the first round. He thinks he'll be a 10 year starter. -

I'm not saying I don't wish we had a 340 lb guy but if you educated yourself, Beane couldn't have been more clear that's not what they want. If you're surprised it's on you. If you just disagree, I get it. -
I understand and certainly don't agree with Intentionally trying to ruin anyone's draft experience. Hence I agreed with the mods just making the call. The choice was to accommodate the broadcast participants. Cool!

It was perfect for you because you were watching Network TV but it wasn't perfect for anyone that was watching Joe Marino - Locked on Bills for example. We knew the pick while you were at commercial, behind, etc. So you I didn't really come to TBD. We just group texted with about a dozen or so folks that are in our friends and family group throughout the country. I mean it's no problem, I just wanted to offer another thought vs they're A holes.

Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky
White Linen replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love this pick -
No I get that, and that's why I like the standard/ mods decision. I just think it's potentially unfair to think everyone who knows the pic and wants to then come here, is automatically doing it to be nasty. They could want to just come here and talk about it, because they don't watch broadcast and know about it 4 minutes earlier.

I personally watch the broadcast too but as Augie said, even "broadcast" is different based on streaming, vs satellite, etc. I'm 50, my sons are 20 and 18, we consume information differently. Their buddies are on Twitter too and they all give each other crap about who their teams picked. I don't have a dog in the fight but I disagree with Gonzo and others calling other postera a holes or ignorant because they don't get information through ESPN or the NFL Network. I'm with Simon and Chandler, etc about just setting the standard so there's an understanding of how it will be done on TBD. But the name calling is a bit over the top for me. It's not even tipping pics, it's getting info different is all.

We had him in his prime and he should be on our Wall of Fame. -

Keon Coleman FaceTimes Josh Allen - Funny
White Linen replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
I disagree, I don't see that as his biggest issue and I really only see him doing that on deep patterns when he hasn't created separation. I'd go so far as to say, he hasn't or the team hasn't used his basketball background enough, especially in the red zone. IMO, he's not athletic enough to run the type of routes that create separation. I.E. the dig route. I've seen him practicing the curl and comeback routes, so I know he's working on his footwork. It's just not fully translating. He may not have a single special trait. I'm thinking work ethic is the most important thing he'll have, for a chance to be a good receiver. -

You are saying technique but what troubles me about Keon is that he lacks athleticism in his route running. I think he can get better too, but I'm worried about him being more than just an average NFL receiver. The issue is his footwork. Almost every college wide receiver needs to work on technique because you can't have the same success in the NFL as college without it. For example a speed guy will just rely on that until he improves his technique, if he in fact does improve. Athleticism is a tough thing to acquire. It appears Keon has the "want to", so hope springs eternal. -

Has Cook talked himself OFF the Bills for 2025
White Linen replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not ready to say this is true without seeing it. Cook is really good and you're undervaluing him, at least to a point. He's not easily replaceable, he's that good. -
Former Bill, Marcellus Wiley accused of rape
White Linen replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a tough situation. If you make it more difficult for women to come out, as you said, less will. However, as we've tried to make it easier, the doors been opened for false accusations. Without penalty for the false accusations, then the accused are the only ones affected. I would hope we're past the point that women should be afraid of their abusers or coming out or being labeled something ridiculous. It seems clear to me the message of, if you're raped it's okay to bury the people that did it. I think we're safe enough from that, that we can start to punish false accusations. -
Is McD compensating for Beane Part #2?

Stop adding words to draw attention away from your position. We know why you think it's Beane. -

Yet you took it as an opportunity to agree that you think it's Beane and not McD stopping the Superbowl. What's wrong with you? Own it. I know you said that, that's why I said you did. -

White Linen replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
You do you, and deny things you say. "So I do, and long have, fallen more on the side of we lack elite difference makers rather than "our coaches are the problem." Ultimately players are more important than coaches, always have been, always will be." You didn't come close to saying, it's more than just as simple as blaming the GM. I totally disagree with your belief, that it's more on the GM and lack of players than McD.
