Ed Oliver is as good as I've seen him today
White Linen replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
You've been wrong, Oliver is way better than you've thought of him. When he's not double teamed, he can be a menace. We finally have a couple DT's that command some attention to free him up. -
What I would give to finish like the Ravens.
-
Imagine if he had just a decent offensive line, running game and we picked higher in the first round.
-
It's a tragedy. We should win the division and be a contender nearly every year.
-
You need to consider a team needs players to develop and earn their next contract, instead of a revolving door. We have more players that have done that, than you mention in your post as "underperforming".

Illegal Streaming Site Streameast Taken Down
White Linen replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I firmly agree with you morally. Stealing is stealing and if you believe, as it appears we both do, it's wrong. Where I disagree with you is, that the paying customers are charged more because of it as a provable. I believe wether that cost existed or not, they're setting prices based on analytical data where the consumer still says yes. Just from the business I'm in and research I've read. -
Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
White Linen replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shenault and Hamler must have really been bad. I don't like signing Davis and I struggle to understand how anyone could want him to ever be active. -
Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF
White Linen replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
IMO, giving McD as much time as he wants to prepare for Lamar Jackson is a real problem for them. -
Yet he folds to them every single time and will this time too.
-
I really hope this is just a courtesy to help a player they care about personally.

Cook signed👀 - 4 / 48 / 30 mil guaranteed
White Linen replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh absolutely, you're tracking what I'm saying. Just let someone else do it. I mean so what, that no other RB's during Allen's tenure did. There's literally no downside to running Allen more. -

I know, and the measly 18 touchdowns. Just give the ball to someone else. Plus 4.9 yards per carry is trash. -
I'm surprised someone up thread didn't say this yet.

Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1
White Linen replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well they have several shared words as their definition. They're certainly not opposite terms as you suggested. -
Good Night / Bad Night - Pre-season game 1
White Linen replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Synchronisation and scheming are essentially synonyms. Tackling and spacing are an effect of the lack of game planning. Not the whole reason to be sure. It's one of the reasons to largely ignore pre-season games and why they often look discombobulated. -
Camp question: Who is this year’s Buffalo Joe?
White Linen replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dorian Strong If this 6th round draft pick makes the 53, that would be amazing. It's highly unlikely even if Hairston misses time. I'm guessing he'd have to beat out two other young candidates and either Dane or Codrington. He's an obvious PS pick. -
How much do you owe on your house?
-
I had to bust on you for clearly trying to start something in this thread....
-
And you were going to leave TBD if we drafted Allen...... Well..... We're waiting.... As the late great Ted Knight would say.

Are Fan Expectations Too High for Keon Coleman?
White Linen replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not sure I agree with the bolded, this off season. I think the additions of Palmer and Moore are moves Beane made to guard against the need to depend on Keon. He's going to need to earn his playing time / "bigger role" / define his role. I'd disagree slightly and say Beane's pattern is drafting high character players and IMO, sometimes has passed on higher ceiling guys. He's not overcompensating, it's what teams historically do that draft late in the first. You try to find a player that out produces that slot. -
I had a feeling we were looking at this guy.
