Has Cook talked himself OFF the Bills for 2025
White Linen replied to DeepPass's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm not ready to say this is true without seeing it. Cook is really good and you're undervaluing him, at least to a point. He's not easily replaceable, he's that good. -
Former Bill, Marcellus Wiley accused of rape
White Linen replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's a tough situation. If you make it more difficult for women to come out, as you said, less will. However, as we've tried to make it easier, the doors been opened for false accusations. Without penalty for the false accusations, then the accused are the only ones affected. I would hope we're past the point that women should be afraid of their abusers or coming out or being labeled something ridiculous. It seems clear to me the message of, if you're raped it's okay to bury the people that did it. I think we're safe enough from that, that we can start to punish false accusations. -
Is McD compensating for Beane Part #2?

You finally got to use a word you memorized in a sentence. -
Is McD compensating for Beane Part #2?

Stop adding words to draw attention away from your position. We know why you think it's Beane. -
Is McD compensating for Beane Part #2?
White Linen replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yet you took it as an opportunity to agree that you think it's Beane and not McD stopping the Superbowl. What's wrong with you? Own it. I know you said that, that's why I said you did. -
Is McD compensating for Beane Part #2?
White Linen replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
You do you, and deny things you say. "So I do, and long have, fallen more on the side of we lack elite difference makers rather than "our coaches are the problem." Ultimately players are more important than coaches, always have been, always will be." You didn't come close to saying, it's more than just as simple as blaming the GM. I totally disagree with your belief, that it's more on the GM and lack of players than McD. -
Is McD compensating for Beane Part #2?

We must afford Gunner the opportunity to use a bunch of tangled words to blame Beane. Yes, when McD's defense still sucked with pro bowler Edmunds. -
Mack Hollins signs with Patriots

Id add a heck of a special teams player too. Not real easy to find guys as willing as he was. -
Who was the Bills next best edge rusher after Bruce?

Did you miss the Kyle Orton year? -
That's just it though. You're an elitist. You never respect anyone else's opinions if it differs from you. Since you want me to go back and find all these positions for you, I want you to show me where just once you've said you know what, that's a good point, I haven't thought about it that way. I find that, in and of itself , extreme.

Some of those decisions and play calls were appalling. It is unfair when at the most critical moments, the coaches don't just expect Josh to just come through, they put him in a position to fail. Then when he does some of us want Josh to take the responsibility? Oh heck no. You've done this in the past and it still doesn't work. You deny things you actively do. You can horse crap all you want.

You can keep spewing this BS and I'm going to keep challenging it. You're a blame Josh too kind of guy and I find it preposterous. Then you blame Beane. Yet McD gets this weird pass from you. Josh didn't lose the KC game as much as Hurts didn't win the KC game. Coaching matters and ours fall short. That Eagles game plan was the reason. Josh is our reason and McD's playoff woes fall short.

Take a breathe no need to get nuts and bold everything. I just asked a simple question. You were the one that was wrong. You beer mugged a post that wasn't sarcasm.

I'm curious why you sent a "thank you" emoji in the don't pay RB's post on page one?

Jonathan Martin and Incognito Bullygate back in the news
White Linen replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
It doesn't really matter what you're interested in. Reality is reality. Now if you don't want to talk about reality that's fine, you can live in your alternate universe you've created for yourself. That's why I asked you those leading questions. Isn't that what life is about getting to the actual meaning? Not the perceived one. We established he wasn't actually going to hit his mother. You can't stick your fingers in your ears and close your eyes and cry that you just want this toxicity to go away. -

I get it and largely agree. I graduated high school in '92 and there was some crazy stuff that went on in that locker room to be sure. I'm sure it really messed with some people and we all remember it in different versions and should acknowledge different effects. However it causing someone to really go over the edge is regrettable but doesn't make the worst offenders awful people. It just sort of went down like that. -

You obviously have a strong point of view on this but my guess is it wasn't meant to be as literal and evil as you're taking it. Some bad things were said and Martin couldn't handle it. No one is saying it's all good, just maybe there's some locker room stuff that isn't as deep as you're making it. I mean me and my friends have been crude before and we don't mean a word of it. -
