  1. I'm curious why you sent a "thank you" emoji in the don't pay RB's post on page one?
  2. It doesn't really matter what you're interested in. Reality is reality. Now if you don't want to talk about reality that's fine, you can live in your alternate universe you've created for yourself. That's why I asked you those leading questions. Isn't that what life is about getting to the actual meaning? Not the perceived one. We established he wasn't actually going to hit his mother. You can't stick your fingers in your ears and close your eyes and cry that you just want this toxicity to go away.
  3. I get it and largely agree. I graduated high school in '92 and there was some crazy stuff that went on in that locker room to be sure. I'm sure it really messed with some people and we all remember it in different versions and should acknowledge different effects. However it causing someone to really go over the edge is regrettable but doesn't make the worst offenders awful people. It just sort of went down like that.
  4. You obviously have a strong point of view on this but my guess is it wasn't meant to be as literal and evil as you're taking it. Some bad things were said and Martin couldn't handle it. No one is saying it's all good, just maybe there's some locker room stuff that isn't as deep as you're making it. I mean me and my friends have been crude before and we don't mean a word of it.
  5. You think he was trying to motivate him?
  6. You think he really was going to hit his mother? Does that matter?
  7. Just when we might forget how important single acts of kindness are .......
  8. Yeah giving games to Amazon prime and the NFL ticket to YouTube was to maximize viewership.
  9. What an incredible amount of work and effort to put this together. I sometimes disagree with Gunner but this is impressive.
  10. Ah yes, because supporting breast cancer is a stupid social media topic.
  11. I'm not your pal. Oh, so then you recognize you should have been more respectful and chose not to be.
  12. Maybe you'd feel different if it hit you closer. Or maybe then again, you'd still be you.
  13. Wack response. Way to not take accountability. IMO, you should have been more considerate, but that's not your thing. I'm happy she's getting involved in helping this issue that's hurt too many. At this point, most of us know someone it's effected and worse.
  14. Disturbing response to her being involved in helping with breast cancer. Weak!
  15. Oh yes we should really help McDermott and give him more draft picks and free agents on defense. Especially going up against that loaded Chiefs offensive roster. Haha
  16. McDermott's defensive lines have been abject failures since he's been here and had to have Lotulelei. We've been giving him multiple draft picks and free agents, year after year and he can't get it done with any of them.
  17. Because McD said he didn't want Worthy because he felt they had that type of player and wanted a WR with size. So that's what Beane gave him.
  18. And the head coach who is there at every step of the process, who's job is to develop these drafted players, is also accountable. You think only Beane is accountable for how the drafted and signed players perform and I think Beane and McD are.
  19. You don't think the players are the head coaches too? They're only assigned to the GM? Now you're just purposely trying to create argument.
  20. Perfectly said and almost exactly how I feel.
  21. They could be Whiffs and it could be the HC rarely turns a draft pick into an excellent player.
  22. I'd squint to see who McD would've picked next to run the offense.
  23. That's because you're an amateur talent evaluater and that's your bias.
  24. Well it's widely speculated McD loved Elam, so I suppose he got what he wanted. That was also when many picks were used on his side of the ball. I've acknowledged Worthy vs Coleman in another thread but to me that also circles back to coaching. It's time for a different philosophy, IMO. I doubt you think with 3-4 better roster choices, McD takes down Reid.
