I think Brown got the shaft last year - with not even being part of the active roster most of the year. He had a chance to win the fanbase over and he was almost there - until that fumble. This year it's just an unfortunate situation that they don't feel comfortable giving him a role. Sometimes it's those moments in life that either go your way or they don't and that fumble I believe was his moment.

Perfectly said. Welcome to the Doug Whaley show. We are so fortunate to have him that it's a shame some of us don't see that yet. It's so clear that he learned a ton while being in Pittsburgh. Remember how they would just all the sudden have another LB become great the moment they moved on from one? I think we're going to start seeing the full value of having Whaley as his moves mature.

I don't care what the so called experts say - Monos and Whaley know what they're doing. I'm not saying they won't make a mistake - but they are clearly expert talent evaluators. I think Dez Lewis is poised to make this team and could be a nice find as well.
