  1. I think full cooperation probably would have revealed more and then of course the penalty would have gotten much worse. It seems like it was smart to obstruct the investigation.
  2. Well I think you understand I was responding to his ridiculous post insinuating my opinion somehow meant I was sounding an alarm. However since you responded to me - there's been a lot of minor things that have basically changed how we feel about a lot of things, and as I look back it's not for the better.
  3. Slow down, let's not worry about anything, ever. Anything goes should work, right?
  4. Thank goodness we got a transparent president to follow him....
  5. Well at least you posted it here first. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2015/5/14/8607123/is-the-flutie-curse-over-with
  6. IMO very stupid. I've read that's it's just as bad if not worse than cigarette smoking. Does that sound good for a WR to be doing or any athlete for that matter?
  7. He looked clumsy on DWTS and didn't show very well in - you know the veteran combine for 1 year players. Should we be the last we hear about him and football.
  8. Yes those same guys. You don't have to be perfect to be an expert - are you not happy with the roster they've put together? If not, you'd be in the minority.
  9. The ESPN coverage of this was painful to watch.
  10. Oh and trading back in the first round of the 2013 draft we netted the 46th pick and drafted Alonso. Are you aware of who we traded to get McCoy?
  11. I don't care what the so called experts say - Monos and Whaley know what they're doing. I'm not saying they won't make a mistake - but they are clearly expert talent evaluators. I think Dez Lewis is poised to make this team and could be a nice find as well.
  12. I thought the same thing. My second thought was Fred could have really thrived in that blocking scheme in his prime a few years ago.
  13. "Let's be sexy on Sunday's in the fall"
  14. I know right .... anyone with a fraction of football acumen knows young QB's don't need a good OL to develop.
  15. I don't see it like that at all. I see it as you're on your 1st date with a girl and because she was dumped by her ex is obviously mad and shouldn't be taken too seriously as she dogs him all night. Then after a short while she says I'd like to get serious and you say nah I'd rather keep this thing casual - so she goes out on a date (doesn't screw) with her ex boyfriend - and now your pissed beyond belief. Yikes you're a psycho.
  16. I'm not saying I don't want Spikes back - I do. But I think we might be over stating his play on the field. He started out the pre-season like a ball of fire and I think we've held on to that. I found him to be somewhat invisible a lot. He had 11 games last year with 3 combined tackles or less and finished with 54. In the locker room - no doubt he helped us - as evidenced by Brown's comments about saying it's not the same without him. I think he did his job by mentoring our young LB's and they shined. I would consider Spikes nearly the same as a Carrington signing. And I promise I'm not bashing him.
  17. I get it - but this team specifically at WR isn't in need of making a hail mary try at getting one. Three years ago, yes you may need to do this. We're just not the desperate for talent Buffalo Bills anymore.
  18. Of course they make mistakes and of course players are going to leave. We better get more and more used to it as we build an extremely talented roster where more than ever players are going demand being paid by the market. I don't necessarily think Levitre not staying as a mistake it was merely a decision that was made based on did we want to pay him that much. I think in hindsight - we did pretty well with that money.
  19. This is one of the most ridiculous posts I've read in a while. You're not comfortable with our organizational chart? They ran this off season in the most professional way we've seen maybe in the history of our franchise. They are clearly all on the same page and communication is at an all time high. The fact our HC was the only one to get a dinner with Collins is proof that they are at the front of every opportunity to make this team better. Polian not coming was the only inadvertent great move we've experienced.
  20. That's clearly a strategy that has worked in the past. I don't think any reasonable FO and coach wouldn't want 10 QB's in camp.
  21. I totally disagree. Expectations are warranted by the obvious additions and and a professional coaching staff. The core has been in place and already fit. The additional pieces are blocks on top of the foundation. There's absolutely no reason this team shouldn't be in every discussion for being a team to watch. No one is saying we're winning the super bowl - that would be a stretch - but to say expectations shouldn't be high is just not correct.
  22. No credible GM would sign him to be a WR. It's the same silly argument that Lebron could be a tight end. He couldn't and Pryor couldn't be a WR. I can't imagine a scenario where Whaley would do something so ridiculous.
  23. And that's happened 3 years in a row. That's why were a power house team loaded with talent. If our QB is decent - look out.
