  1. Very true. Still low information types just don't get it. China is one of our greatest allies. Our South American friends that come to this country by any means have helped this country in countless ways. To say that you didn't wait in some stupid line means you're a criminal is just insane.
  2. Anyone with half a brain can tell this country is on an uptick. All these haters of the hard work that's been done have their heads in the sand.
  3. "I cater those workouts to track-specific things, so I don't lose the rhythm I've always had to keep football and track in balance. I don't want to get too much on the football side and gain weight, so I'm as fast on the field." From a football fan perspective I'm not sure I like this quote. Maybe I'm reading this wrong but I don't think he's a good enough football player to tailor his workouts to be able to do both things.
  4. For all the different types, colors, consistencies, and endless possibilities - does the word soup really adequately describe this most delicious work of culinary art?
  5. I'll admit Brohm had me intrigued and I even went so far to think it possible he was our answer. I think I just grew tired of our weak armed QB's and was hoping on hope.
  6. Seems like a guy that wants to be a good guy to the point he doesn't seem genuine. He goes from goofy smiling face to I'm pissed face in seconds whenever I've seen him on tv. Erratic guy. My hunch is he's both a real good guy and a nut.
  7. Obviously Murph has been a long time stalwart of the Buffalo Bills but I can't listen to his show. It's just so boring most of the time. His questions are uninteresting and often times he asks the guest a question than says "I imagine ....." and answers the question for the guest and then they don't have anything to add to an already thoughtless question.
  8. You don't see how those two things can possibly be connected?
  9. I agree with you that the likelihood of Rivers being available is low and him becoming a free agent is zero. If anything they would franchise tag him and open up trade negotiations - obviously they will try to avoid that too. The only analogy that can be drawn from the Brees situation is if there's another Rivers to take over for Brees situation that presents itself to them with Rivers for ..... IMO there's only 3 options. If they like Kaep so the 49ers would be possible - if they like Foles so the Rams would be possible - or if the team with the 1st overall pick next year offers it and they like a QB. I don't see any possibility the Bills can get Rivers.
  10. This is what I think. It pisses coaches off when players miss "voluntary practices" but they can't do much about it - when they miss mandatory practice they'll really come down on you.
  11. Yeah but Hogan had Orton throwing to him.
  12. Everything I've read about him says he's probably a better coach than player.
  13. There's nothing wrong with the title - it matches the topic to be talked about.
  14. There's no question we have a legitimate opportunity to make the playoffs. I think we always hope but now I believe it's reasonable to say we're a team that can make the playoffs.
  15. Translation: The Cowboys guaranteed the most money, the fins were second.
  16. I get the feeling he's going through some very tough things within his own head. He actually seems very sad to me while trying his best to put on a happy face.
  17. Whaley has definitely shown a propensity to like former first round picks too.
  18. You're right, but it is pointless.
  19. And even the 2020 class looks good. See what I'm getting at?
  20. And the class after that looks real good too.
  21. Yes they snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat from a team built similar to the Buffalo Bills. That's my point - this is how you contend with the great QB teams. Commit to it as much as teams do trying to find a QB. Before anyone says it - of course it appears Wilson puts them over the top to a contender. Will it be Seattle's downfall to pay Wilson and let many key players walk? They aren't committed to staying the course.
  22. Yeah really great thread. Interesting acts of kindness, hearing about guys actually being good at softball that play football, and raising money to help other people - are always things I enjoy reading about.
  23. I think you'll agree we're a much different team than a couple years ago as our overall talent has significantly developed and been added upon. We ran the ball well but didn't stop the run - so we often didn't win that battle. I think there's been a concerted focus on building the team. I understand we've looked for a QB but without knowing it I think we could be creating the new way to win among the teams with the QB situation defined. I don't think we invented anything but trending back to an old way to win.
