  1. I don't want either. We have too many holes to worry about QB.
  2. What "right price" do you get for an "expendable" player? I swear, do some of you read your own posts back to yourselves?
  3. We'd get a 5th or 6th round pick for him. What do you propose we do with that?
  4. Of course, but I'm feeling confident Beane isn't someone to just look at that. Ball placement, IMO, is the most important. However ball placement without enough arm strength cancels out. You'r right, in that arm strength alone is not enough.
  5. I think it's also reasonable to project next years 1st to be in the 12-15 range so some may view that as more valuable.
  6. Two years. I mean c'mon how long should it take?
  7. There is such a thing though as not having enough. Teams just have to make sure a QB doesn't go below a threshold.
  8. That sounds like a good deal right there.
  9. 10's of thousand of them? Ok, I stand corrected. I'll bring some chili so we can eat right before marching.
  10. I like the ideas floating around TBD to trade both 1st round picks and pick up a bunch of 2nd and 3rd rounders. Especially since first rounders are such a crap shoot.
  11. Where are we supposed to find that many pitchforks and torches by next Thursday? This is crazy, haha.
  12. I'm going to the restaurant The Taste of Buffalo in Huntersville, NC - go in the bathroom and cry my eyes out.
  13. Benjamin Allbright @AllbrightNFL · 56m This is an internet rumor that's been around about a week, and when I asked my Browns source he outright laughed.
  14. Benjamin is a FA next year so he doesn't effect 2019 unless we want him to. Why not just use the 63 million (Sal C this weekend said almost 100M) in 2019 on 2019? Stop worrying so much. If you follow the bread crumbs it's pretty clear what Beane's plan is and he's executing it.
  15. You know you make a sound point, it would be better to not draft one so we make the playoffs each of the next three years without drafting a QB.
  16. I couldn't disagree more. A bunch of picks and White is not a good scenario. If we get Allen - while you may like it - at least you'll know that's who they wanted and they got him, let's roll with our new QB. Allen and giving up picks isn't the worst scenario by a country mile.
  17. 3 straight great years, Romo gets hurt (so does he) and replaced with Cassel. Then they have a Tyrod type QB the next two years- and Dez Bryant suddenly sucks? I don't think so.
  18. This will not happen and I don't think we're perceived to have very little as a team.
  19. Exactly right. Then he goes on to elaborate what the teams are saying. So is he suggesting that we think they gave him their 1-4 in order, then a breakdown of what they like and don't like? This is some BS fluff piece that is easy to lie about because it can't be proven he lied.
