  1. He'll be nothing without Tyrod. Who let's go of franchise QB"s? Only the Bills.
  2. Did you watch the embedded video? Eddie Y got praised multiple times by McD. I agree with you that I think he's making it for sure. I don't know about Fede but I think Shaq could be in jeopardy. It looks like he's trying hard to me but there just aren't many results.
  3. Is it the same long black wrap used on ACL tears?
  4. No, that's the beauty of it. Of course we don't get any news as fans but we have a head coach that keeps everything in house - even the obvious. I only wish he doubled down by saying if AJ is going to miss significant time, we'll bring someone in and they'll have an opportunity to start just like AJ.
  5. It doesn't make him sound dumb. It's clear that he's not telling the media anything - ever. He even tells them - I'm not answering that question. Then the majority of the rest of the questions are the exact same question he just said he's not answering. It's embarrassing for them not him.
  6. You're not getting it. He badly wanted it to be the ACL. It's what he's about.
  7. Can Bodine be his Hull?
  8. What if field goals counted for 7 points, would we see teams kick them more? This is fun.
  9. Tyrod is not a good throwing QB and we saw it last night. I know it's pre-season but that's Tyrod minus his running which he won't do much (smartly) in pre-season. Landry will get frustrated and the team will lose early - then Mayfield will quickly get his shot, imo.
  10. Josh Gordon is perplexing to me. He seems like such a likable young man and someone that can put their mind to something and do it. He doesn't seem like that typical person you know is just going to struggle to get it together.
  11. It was on Bodine. edit: I think I put more blame on Bodine looking back but Ducasse is clueless. Even Clay missed. This play is pretty bad and I think what Wood did was communicate responsibilities. He was a very smart player.
  12. I remember debating some poster a while back on Wood. He said he's average at best - I said you'll miss him when he's gone. We're missing him, Bodine was not good last night. He, IMO, was 100% responsible for the sack on McCarron that came up the middle. There's no good reason he left his man, ran to the left, and his guy smashes the QB. It was so bad it looked like it was on purpose.
  13. Making other players better.
  14. He's been the best guy in both games. He clearly can handle the bad o line play better and this kids poise is impressive. As Augie said, he is the best option but if that's not what's best for him, I don't want him out there. It's two separate conversations.
  15. I have a hard time going against McDermott here because he knows the player better than any of us - and he wanted him. I agree with you guys here that he noticeably was very bad tonight. When he and Washington were in the game it was not good at all. On the flip side I could easily see how players may want to proceed with caution in the pre season. I hope that's the case with Star. I wonder what McDermotts view on this is. Does he want players giving everything they have while they're in there?
  16. As an Ortho PA Looked like the trainer did just one test for a PCL or ACL and didnt feel the need to check it further. Could be wrong, but I’d bet he did not feel instability in either direction, and Kyle reassured him he felt ok. Likely a sprained ligament.
  17. I shouldn't have said total loser - you may be a decent guy but you're depressed person here. I pitty people like you and you need it.
  18. There's no other fan on this site that loves bad news more than you.
  19. It's actually not the only measuring stick we have, it's just the next one in the progression of things. The Bills coaches and FO have all the measuring sticks and that's why we need to have some faith in their ability to get it right. My main point is this is not a team with 3 QB's battling it out. Unless you resign yourself to just caring about the immediate. This is about one QB, Allen. If it's best for Allen for one of the other two QB's to start then that's what will happen. It's not because they're better. and won the job.
  20. This is not a QB battle. Allen can out play Peterman and/or McCarron right now. That may not be best for him, because there's a lot of learning - so this is all about what's best for Allen. Peterman and/or McCarron will help us do what's best for Allen and then their starting dreams will swiftly be taken away.
  21. Have the other two QB's referenced being the starter? Nope. Why? It's because our head coach teaches not to say much to the media. He preaches, I'll communicate to you openly and you can back to me. No need to put things outside the team. They trust him and none of them are making claims. I find it impossible to believe Allen doesn't want to and doesn't care if he's the starter, as you state as fact.
  22. I have far more issues with the radio.com app as I did with the WGR app. It's causing me to listen much much less and I really enjoyed daily listening.
  23. Running backwards? He was under immediate attack and got away. He slipped when he spun away and then re-gained his footing in which time he should have thrown it away. It was his only bad decision. He may not be ready but it's not for those two weak things you mention. Don't bore me with this is about winning week one as if Peterman and McCarron are inherently more ready to win.
  24. Allen looked so incredibly calm in his first game in the NFL. To me, that was the most impressive thing I saw. No happy feet and it just seemed he was in control of the moment. I watched every pass he threw 4 times and it was amazing how he calmly steps up in the pocket (4 times) and how he knows when to run (4 times, 2 would be sacks). I tallied 13 good passes with 2 drops out of 19 attempts. 3 first down throws and 2 first down runs.
  25. I want who they pick to start.
