  1. I'm sure that's what this practice squad signing means.
  2. There isn't an offensive coordinator alive that can derive a game plan with Peterman, our WR's and O line.
  3. I'm glad they're signing someone like Coleman vs Maclin or Dez that could really help them. Forget about him being able to handle the Pats culture - he couldn't handle ours. Their receivers are required to take punishment. Those short routes in front of the defense lead to being tackled hard a lot of times. He won't be willing and even if he is, he won't survive. If he was a vertical threat he'd still be on the Browns or Bills - so he's not that either.
  4. Happy Birthday Scott. We appreciate what you do.
  5. Yeah because Tyrod would have lit up the chargers. Yes I watched the games and I saw a team with less talent than most of their opponents go 9-7. He deserves credit for that.
  6. Then why isn't he starting?
  7. When you go down by a lot early - you won't see the reason for a FB.
  8. I hope Teller fills a hole too but boy did he look lost in pre-season.
  9. It's going to be a while and my biggest concern is WR. We need two and both need to be legit and they're not going to come from free agency. It's going to take significant draft capital to get there and there's so many other positions that need to come from the draft as well. It's so hard when you do not have one WR to add to.
  10. It's not prudent for the head coach to act as frustrated as fans or as he may feel. He's earned the benefit of the doubt from me for last years performance. When we traded Sammy, Dareus and Darby - I thought we would be among the worst teams in the league. On paper, I think we were but he did one heck of a job. We were a team that needed to add talent without a ton of cap space and then Wood and Incognito unexpectedly left. That's is something extremely difficult to over come. I will say that so far the Star and Murphy signings seem like two mistakes. Hey we're a team with a lot of holes and a ton of cap space coming. Let's see what they do with a high pick and the money. I'd be much more concerned if this was nearing the end of their decisions to build the team - the facts are that's it's just the beginning.
  11. I agree with this post. Peterman can't even compete with this offensive line and they know Allen's skill set gives the team a much better chance to win. However, they may have wanted to avoid exposing him to play behind that line. Now it can't even be hidden because of how poorly Peterman played. You can at least game plan with a bad line and Allen's skills. I would not be surprised if Peterman still gets the nod - as they may try to push that decision as far down the road as they possibly can. Our offensive line is the worst I've seen in my years of being a fan. It's a terrible spot to be in. I mean, he can't "learn" by watching Peterman and that o-line.
  12. Decent signing. Wish we could have gotten Nassib instead, but I think he got claimed on waivers.
  13. You didn't hear his name once?
  14. How in the world could you possibly know that?
  15. His lack of effort and toughness are evident.
  16. They traded for him.
  17. Not even close. I would have answered but you don't deserve it. Way to jump to ridiculous conclusions.
  18. You're really good at dissecting the issues. Shady hurt the offense today and if he was any kind of professional would evaluate how he let the o line down.
  19. You miss Tierod? What would you imagine his presence would have done today?
  20. Schopp will be at the edge of his seat.
