  1. Yup and the draft is deep @ WR position this year.
  2. But a superior passing game with DeSean Jackson, Garcon and the athletic TE. They could make throw-and-catch all day.
  3. The problem with Marronne was they had a dreadful offense. The defense played fantastic under Jim Schwartz. This in fact has been the sad story.. Gailey ran a great offense, but had a poor defense under George Edwards and co. Marrone had a great defense under Schwartz but had an underwhelming offense with Nate. (They had the talent, but poor coaching and game planning) Rex had the # 1 rushing offense two years in a row and had the lousiest defense Can Sean put together all phases of the game and succeed. As the Dolphins showed this year, ti does not take much to get to the playoffs.
  4. Talent, Coaching, Game Day Adjustments are all important for winning in the NFL.
  5. WE also need to have a reliable backup QB and that may cost $5M per year. I can't see the Bills go into the season with Taylor, Jones and a Draft Pick
  6. but on the downside. He did not play well last year. Safety was a liability.
  7. I can see him signing a backup contract with the Rams. May be he even gets a chance to compete.
  8. How much is Cousins better than what they already have.
  9. I am assuming that Cousins has not shown enough to be a Franchise QB. I don't believe Washington lets him go if they think he is a Franchise QB. Cousins is a hot-and-cold QB. He is in the same boat as Tyrod
  10. but yet missed his 2nd season for the same reason: injury and had surgery.
  11. The Bills actually don't have to tell TT anything at this point. They are going to do all their evaluations, their ability to trade for Romo etc. TT is under contract and a bonus kicks in on the 1st week of the league. TT should not expect any call from the FO and should just enjoy the begining of his off season.
  12. A Dick Jauronisque moment for Dan Quinn
  13. +1 have to agree. Kurt Warner had a dream season with the Rams winning the SB and then almost won it for ARizona except for a spectacular 90 yard drive by Ben Rothelisberger.
  14. I agree...Trying to force players into a scheme is dumb..as evidenced by Ryan's tactics.
  15. I actually think Belicheck walks away before Brady. Seeing Belichek on the sidelines appears to be frustrated a lot. A SB and he could be done. Their legacy is set and closed at that point
  16. And have a defense that can take pressure of a young QB. QBs like Brady, BigBen and Eli have won SuperBowls because they could depend on their defense/Special Teams at the beginning of their career. I think what he is trying to say is that these guys succeeded enough with the other pieces surrounding them and they didn't sit on the bench for a couple of years developing (Like Rodgers).
  17. He definitely was a con artist to get fired by the Jets and then get a 25M guaranteed contract from the Bills for two years.
  18. Sorry for the colossal loss. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
  19. Yup. Matt and Mark are the two who fit this well. Another one may be Vinny Testervede with the Jets.
  20. When someone throws $30M at your feet, why would you walk away from it, irrespective of whether you in the mood to coach or not.
  21. The teams that succeed are always the ones that use their personnel best. Rex came in and made the comment that he will use the successful defense to become a bully, but in reality wanted the players to shift to his playbook, which in turn frustrated the players. We had similar issues when Doug came in and dismantled Chan Gailey's offense. He didn't know what to do with Spiller.
  22. It is only natural for some players to stop giving their full effort when doubts raise about how the team as overall is run. Does the coach have a handle on the team after a loss or a series of loss. Coaches get paid for correcting that. The Seattle game is a good one. Offense goes on the field and at half time has the team leading by 2 TDs..ad then sees the Defense self destruct. How does the team react after that loss across the coast.
  23. It doesn't even make any sense for comparing Ryan with Tyrod. They are two different QBs playing at two different levels. But the Bills could have gone to the playoffs if the defense had held up. Giving up three 200 yard Rushing and having some of the worst pass defense undermined that could be done considering the talent they had on offense after the injury to starters on offense.
