    I think it is not a big deal between giving him the option and tagging him, except that tagging can be done at the end of next season.

    Thanks for putting one in the offseason. I completely agree on your point...We are in the off season and we need to treat it that way. Give the players a break from a grueling season. Let them come back healthy. Have a wonderful summer folks.

    With 6 picks at the beginning of the draft and holes at several starting positions, they were not going to be able to address all positions. I expect them to sign veteran backups closer to TC.

    Yates will be the backup QB on Opening Day. He has playoff experience and familiarity with the offense. IMHO, Cardale's time is running out. Remember this coaching staff did not draft him and may not be patient for him to pan out

    You are making a huge assumption that if the Bills had a 2nd round tender, the Pats would have signed him to a contract. That is a huge leap of faith.

    My problem with this is: If Cardale was able to transition to the NFL, he would have already got his shot. Right now he hasn't progressed fast enough to give the Bills a confidence that he will be their future QB. The Bills can't wait and watch but pick another QB and continue the competition.

    The fact that the Bills played Manuel instead of Cardale in the season ending game was indicative that he was not game ready, even for a tryout! A Dak Prescott was able to learn the Cowboys playbook by beginning of regular season and Cardale had yet to master it at the end of the regular season that the Bills chose to start EJ in a meaningless game.

    Yes...WR in 1st round, CB in 2nd round and a QB in 3rd round. If Cardale does win the 3rd QB job, then that would mean he was just that much better. Competition brings the best in everybody

    Isn't that what the OP suggested...He found at least 2 QB needy teams that might be trading partners...What is the problem with that.

    +1. The constant change of coaching and hence the change of schemes keeps hurting this NFL Team!!!! The Bills owners have to stop that and give the staff a chance. I hope they don't meddle with Sean for the next four years.

    Thankful that we won a few games...This is not the best year to pick #1 overall.

    Jim Kelly and Steve Tasker had a great season throwing and catching passes when the main WRs were done.

    He had healthy WR's in 2015 and none of anybody useful for 2016.
