The problem is that other teams like the Cardinals and Dolphins don't have the same Draft capital as the Bills to be able to move to the top-4 especially considering how much the Jets paid for that 3rd pick. The Bills and possibly the Patriots are the only ones with the type of draft picks that can entice the top-4 teams to do a trade. As I posted in another thread...the wild card is the Giants...What if the Giants traded Eli Manning to Jacksonville and get a bounty. Then they will pick the #2 best QB in the draft and set the franchise up for success for the next decade. The Colts did it a few years ago...so why not the Giants.

It would be a big win for the Giants and the Jaguars and a big loss for the Bills, especially if they cannot come any higher to #5 or #6.

If the Giants stay put at #2, they have to get a Franchise QB. They are not going to be at #2 in the draft again when the time comes for Eli to hang up.

Rosen won't get past the Jets...The Jets will make a defining pick like the Giants fifteen seasons ago...They will go after the Cerebral QB. The Bills will not get Rosen unless they get to #2 And the Giants have no other team that can offer 3 1st Rounders!!!

We will never know if this draft worked out or not until 2020....By then their records will decide if Beane and McDermott will remain with the BIlls.

The Jets are from NYC...the top media city in the country. They are scrutinized like 1000 times more than the Bills...They had to make that call. If they get their Franchise QB that will last for a decade who cares what they gave up.

Unfortunately everyone thinks they are interchangeable from the point of draft position...meaning they would be happy if they got any one of the QB at their position. Here is what we see in media Darnold - He is considered a Interception M/C Rosen - He has attitude issues Mayfield - 6' ft and Mayfield will always be tied together Allen - His 55% completion will always be mentioned on every turn Jackson - Is he a QB ?? One says he is electric and the other says he is a WR!!! Mason - What is his weakness...It varies.... All this will be resolved in a week in Jones's building!

There are a few dark horse like Arizona, Baltimore, New England, Pittsburgh, Miami who given an opportunity will jump between that 5-12 to get one of these four QBs. The Bills would be foolish if they stood at 12 or 21 for their QB unless they are happy with a Mason Rudolph or Lamar Jackson. This is going to be one of the most anticipated draft as there is likely hood of 6 QBs going in the top 15 if these teams have their way!

How many games did we win by a blowout and how many games did we lose by a blowout. A Starting QB for the team for three seasons should be able to do both...win blowouts and lose by small margins. We lost a way too many games were we were slaughtered. And the 3 points in the playoffs was the final straw.
