There were no marquee players on both teams...the only exception being Donald. Recent super bowls have had the darlings of media in Brady, Mahomes, participating in the super bowl. Not this time
Circling the Wagons. Go Bills !
This. When McKenzie was on the field, he always got the extra yards after the catch.
Also, Josh himself suggested in the offseason that he had to work on that aspect of his game. It didn't improve as much as he expected.
The Broncos lost 3 superbowl in the 80s with John Elway. I am sure it was frustrating for John those years. However, he was able to come back and win back-2-back SBs with Shanahan.
Which QB has his GM drafted for him? And now they will not have a 1st Round pick this draft.
Agreed. McDermott has to find ways to win SB considering he is having the best player in football.
Rosseau could be that game changing player next season. I agree that we need to invest in another CB as our two safeties are long in the tooth and next year could be a break year for them and our CB1 is coming of a major knee injury.
That is because a majority of the NFL players are doing some act of kindness everywhere. The exceptions are the ones that go slam other cars or get into bar fights.
But this Bills team is not Complete. It has holes. We don't have a starter at LG, LB, CB2. Other spots might open up if we purge contracts to get some cap space. It is not like we have superstars in all positions,
Also, Coach McDermott promotes competition at every spot. Look at Spencer Brown - He was drafted to be a backup for the 1st season as they had bookend tackles. However, Covid and competition changed it.
I think the replacement for both will be Stevenson or someone in the draft.
This season, we had Diggs, Sanders, Davis and Beasley as top four receives along with Knox. There really was no space for Isiah until injury stuck us in the NE game.
Winning super bowls are hard. Aaron Rodgers has won one in his career; Rothelisberger won 2 in his 18 year career...The Mannings won two each... The time will come for McDermott and Allen.
