Giants/Schoen interview Daboll for HC
ganesh replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
It depends on how many fringe FA we have that they will want to build around.... McKenzie, Wallace, Obada, Addison, Hughes -
Observations re the week 5 KC/Buff game
ganesh replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
May be the Defense made him make those bad throws. Go Bills ! -
I honestly think our CBs are being protected by our TWO safeties playing deep. The coverage provided by Hyde and Poyer along with sideline-to-sideline running ability of Milano and Edmunds is providing help to these CBs and masking their inexperience and weakness. I think Frasier is the coach that has designed the coverage for this team with help from the Safeties and the LBs

Question to ask: Besides Beasley, which FA have we been able to attract here? I think Buffalo is still not a preferred destination for FA for multiple reasons - Weather, Taxes, and not a big city. Star and Addison came over due to Carolina connections and also Bills were the only team to overpay for their services. Butler and Haack are average FA acquisitions. Sanders is in his last legs and is the only guy who followed the benefit of playing with a star QB. Rest of our team is home grown talent.

Observations re the week 5 KC/Buff game
ganesh replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed...We need Philips, Star, Oliver to provide inside pressure and don't give Mahomes the ability to hit on his screens. -
The year is not good for drafting a QB at the top of the draft.
-
They also could let. go of Jones and we sign him to backup Allen.
-
This is what was said last year. That he had too many players on defense who bailed out on Covid. However, they all came back and the result was still the same; except they beat up on bad teams. I think Bill and Josh McDaniels have been getting a pass for too long and they are cooked without a Franchise QB

For those who attended The Perfect Game live..
ganesh replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
this... larger challenges looms ahead....one on the road at KC and then two tough teams in the Titans and Bengals...One game at a time. Go Bills. -
Since they lost to us in week 5 and then were pummelled 27-3 by the Titans in week 7, they have gone on a 9-1 run with wins against good teams such as. Green Bay, Dallas and Chargers and then beating up the ones they should (Broncos(2), Raiders(2), Steelers) with their only loss to the Bengals in a wild game. Both the wins over the Cowboys and Packers were impressive road wins. They are playing well and with confidence. The Bills have their work cut out. But we have Josh Allen and a stingy defense. Go Bills !

OT Whose your biggest disappointment in the NFL this year?
ganesh replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cleveland Browns. Buffalo Bills - We should have been the #1 seed if not for bad losses at Jacksonville and at the Titans. Baltimore Ravens - They were expected to be competing. I think injuries to Lamar derailed them Minnesota - I think they were expected to compete with Green Bay with that. high powered offense. But it did not happen. -
Would NE do Mac Jones + picks for Watson?
ganesh replied to ProcessTruster's topic in The Stadium Wall
I could also see Pats going after Wilson. -

He often hurdles over poor LBs and DBs....Something he should not do in the NFL on a regular basis !!!! Frankly, the biggest negative that Josh is continuing to overcome is Respecting the opponent defensive scheme and taking what they offer and being patient with it. The NFL is not college. Every team has good to great players who are athletically superior. The QBs who have shown the patient to wilt the defense are the ones that are winning Super Bowls. Any QB who plays 'Heroball' usually is back to earth after a game or two. Josh is learning and practicing that exact art. As long as he can control his inner emotions to play that game, he is going to be deadly and very likely to win SBs.

and possible same number of injuries

Intensity - This is playoff football. Regular season game cannot match this intensity. What's at Stake - In week #5 it was a one game loss. With Sunday's game, it is go home for the loser. the two are different games. In fact it would be stupid of the teams to approach it like the regular season game. More importantly, this is the 4th time the two teams are facing each other in 15 months...Allen is 1-2 and needs to win this to exorcise last years losses (inspite of this years win). * Will the Bills pass rush get to Mahomes? Will the Chiefs pass rush get to Allen? *. Will the Bills continue to have success with Singletary? Will the Chiefs get lucky again with the backup RB for the kind of game he had against the Steelers. *. Will the Bills WRs and TEs be able to catch the football ?

Refs and bad calls have ramifications
ganesh replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
They allowed that catch (which clearly touched the ground) right before the Pat's FG. -
Josh would never blame the Refs like Prescott did yesterday night. You made a foolish play by running the ball; don't blame the ref for grabbing the ball and placing it at the right place.

I think this is the biggest thing. In fact, I think McDermott (a few years ago) made the same comment to one of the media guys during TC....He said he will never ask someone to do something that he himself does not do. I think they preach that all the time to the team
