It is not like we have superstars in all positions, Also, Coach McDermott promotes competition at every spot. Look at Spencer Brown - He was drafted to be a backup for the 1st season as they had bookend tackles. However, Covid and competition changed it.

This is like the Lawyer Milloy situation. Lawyer could play at a high level, but he was a cap casualty caught in a numbers game. Milloy was the heart and soul of those NE defense...but they lit him go. The same happened to Richard Seymour. It happens. I wouldn't be surprised if Poyer is moved.

The Ravens went 0-4 with Huntley as their QB down the stretch. It killed their playoff chances. I think LJ is definitely in a better place and the Ravens know it.

The dead cap hit for letting go Ford and Star are monstrous. You save about 1.5M in cap for each of these players and you will have to spend more than that to get the save average skill sets. We are going to retain them for upcoming season.

Morse - Has minimal dead cap and a big salary. I can see him as a cap casualty. Star and Ford - Cutting them doesn't help on any big savings as their cap hit is very expensive. Our two safeties are going to make about $21M together with a total of $8M in cap hit. Either one could be a casualty. Looks like we are also on the hook to pay a lot of money for * Ed Oliver - by picking his 5th year option * Gabe Davis and Knox....If you want them for the long term core of your offense you will have re-sign them. The same goes for Diggs. The Bills are going to be in a very difficult situation to sign the above three together....

Tannehill has been fine for them. People don't give him as much credit as he deserves. Trubisky would be really good with Tampa Bay and its star studded offense. That line will give him the necessary protection and those WRs are really great.

I agree. Williams is not going anywhere. They also need continuity on this line. I expect them to draft TWO Guards/Center this year.
