  1. We could all use a little more confidence going deep...some more than others.
  2. Call Big Tree Inn. Ask for Danny (I think). He owns the lot across from Big Tree and allows some RV’s there.
  3. One (Barkley) is young enough to start so that’s worth a 2 The other (Manning) is old enough to guide, that’s worth a 5.
  4. You guys need to look at it from Beane’s perspective...it’s a business. 1) We have $88 million in cap space 2) We have three or four 5th round picks in the next two years 3) We have a backup QB who has demonstrated some success, team player, smart, athletic (Preseason and Jets game last year). As a business decision, would you not acquire Eli (if he approved) for his base salary and two 5th round picks (one in 2020 and one in 2021)? In exchange some team gives us a second or third rounder for Barkley? This is a QB driven league and Barkley is better than the QB in Pittsburgh, Possibly SD and NO. Glad Beane is thinking all the time. I’d love to have Eli in the QB room.
  5. Maybe Baker is a germaphobe and didn’t want to shake hands with strangers. I have a few friends like that. Let’s not jump to conclusions.
  6. That’s 4.3 in metric time (Canada)...in the US he runs a 4.55
  7. Don't make me resurrect the "Offensive Line by Committee" thread. Chris Brown, Sal Carpoccio, and now @Chandler#81 are lauded with "originality" and "outside the box" thinking because they have more influence in these parts. But, as I have been taught as a youngster, respect your elders. Happy Birthday old feller!!!
  8. Hate to say it again: Roid Rage. He’s heading into Richie territory.
  9. Could you insert a few more emojis please? Maybe a ? here or a ? there? You might even use a ??️? in honor of our Asian brothers and sisters. Just sayin.
  10. First three weeks: I went to church and we won all three. Last week: I hung out with reprobates and drank beer. We lost. Heading to church in in an hour.
  11. Tom Brady has as many Super Bowl losses as I have in girth inches. Tom Brady has as many Super Bowl losses as I have slices of pizza I typically eat at one sitting.
  12. You have a funny idea of what the word "therapeutic" means.
  13. Can we please move on from this ***** game?
  14. But, but, but...what about Tanner Gentry? I may need to start a thread.
  15. Post of Year!!! LOL Not bad...for a Hawaiian
  16. Holy chit. This is getting ridiculous.
  17. You'll have a good time with it. It's not something that you learn quick and I still make many, many mistakes. I'd suggest one of your first purchases should be a set of Lithium Ion tools. Get the set that has the impact driver, screw driver and the circular saw. 18 volt or the 20 volt are the best. If you quit woodworking you'll still have all the tools for other things. Next, go to YouTube and watch a few videos on "making your own workbench". You don't need to make anything fancy but it's fun to do and you'll love the end product because you made it yourself (rather than buying it). I just made mine with pop-up bench dogs, an inlay vice and and this is the one that is currently sitting in my converted carriage house/shop. The bench should be big enough to handle any larger projects you may make in the future (for instance, if you make a bookcase, you'll need enough room to lay it on its back and tack on trim, etc) After you get the basic tools (above), then you can look for table saw, drill press, jointer, planer, etc. Like suggested above by others, go to your local Craigslist and search for "shop tools" or specific items. Also, I always search for "lumber". Many times, old rough sawn lumber is worth it especially if clear. Try not to buy woodworking lumber from big stores. Look for a local sawmill or buy from estate cleanout, etc. Have fun and message me if you have questions.
  18. So heart-wrenching. Prayers for peace and future family for the Whites.
  19. @Gugny Sorry about your bad experience. My seats were ok and the folks who sat near me were tolerable. All Bills fans and they shared beers with us. There might be some seats right near us next year.
  20. Thx for finding that. Didn’t see that film.
  21. At least agree the flag was thrown at time of Josh’s hit. There was no other “yellow indicator” of a flag BEFORE the hit to Josh. Therefore, it was a phantom friggin flag (as usual). Not to mention the two or three “picked up flags” for face masks and pick play that would have been penalties in any other game.
  22. I noticed how you didn’t reference the flag thrown at time of hit to Josh but no other flag or replay for a hold. Give it up. Nonsense
  23. Absolutely not. Show us. The flag was thrown after the hit on Josh. Wasn’t until after Josh was down was there a reference to a hold. Also, knocking QB out vs a hold is offsetting? Ridiculous.
  24. So if there was a “hold” it should have been called 5 seconds before the hit on Josh. Did anyone even see a hold. So frustrating!! Typical BS!!
