Thanks. I can’t pull of a west coast accent, but I can try some other strategy. -

Great post. On a side note, when the guys in line bought you free beers because it was your first game, what did you say exactly? How did you say it? Just curious. (Taking notes)- 49 replies

Funny how the "media narrative" at the start of the season was how they were Superbowl contenders. Now you say those same media "experts" are predicting their implosion? They're really going out on a limb with that analysis. That's why I find "sports talk" and "experts" such fools. There is absolutely no credibility or accountability for the haphazard predictions they make every year. It's actually comical.

That's the first clear-cut, no BS statement he's ever made and I applaud him for it. Just because you have money in your pocket, doesn't mean you have to go out and buy a Porsche or Benz....you can hold that money to assure future signings of your own elite, uninjured, non-headcase players. (No offense to the Versa Note owners on this board....ahem, @Gugny...ahem)

Yet another example of why Joe B. (J Bus Bus...or whatever moniker he came up with during his WGR days) knows absolutely NOTHING about football. His insights are generic and, more often, copied. Not this one though...this is a whole new level of geeky incompetence. Most of his “material” (especially draft “guru” material) is stolen. Here’s Joe B’s unedited version: “Star played good. He’s a cool player. He was there. He should be good next week. We lost the game. Don’t forget to watch for my draft preview next week.”
