Good post. Agree with everything except Burrow and Mahomes being every bit as good as Allen. They have better offensive structures around them. No matter how many times it is discussed, the second Burrow and Mahomes win in the playoffs that is forgotten.

Bravo. Believe it then you will see it. Don’t get stuck in the failure/pain loop like many fans.

Really difficult season. Bad Bengals loss. Bad breakup. Coaches say he’s locked in, but I need to see it to believe it. Stanfield can EASILY become a distraction. She’s not a regular girl like the ex was. Not saying she will, but she could. Having a Hollywood/music industry partner is a distraction with a high amount of temptation and jealousy potential. Mentally it could go either way for Josh.

We don’t know what’s really going on, and neither do you.

Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)

You underestimate the poor investment choices these players make. $50m can go fast. All it takes is one stock market drop when you have little to no diversification. -

It’s a no brainer. He’s the same age as Diggs. Bring him in and go crazy on offense. Anybody who saw him play last year knows he’s still got it. -
Rumor Josh Allen break up/ reason for losing to cinci
ToGoGo replied to Jamone's topic in The Stadium Wall
It matters and you know it. Want to know why I’m right? Look at the Cinci game. That’s what happens when your QB and leader acts like Travis Henry. Real world is different than ideals. Rumor started with local law enforcement. Gossip rags are the only ones not controlled by the NFL. -
Rumor Josh Allen break up/ reason for losing to cinci
ToGoGo replied to Jamone's topic in The Stadium Wall
Heard the same. Also heard about NDAs and payouts. For those that don’t want to believe this rumor, it began from the OP police department. Read between the lines and there is most likely truth to this. Difficult story but explains a lot of behavior we have been seeing since Cinci from players and coaches. Tough tough season last year. Deflating. -
Josh stops being a boring Buffalo loser for 5 minutes and already posters get uncomfortable. Some fans were truly happiest during the drought, they just didn't realize it. Go root for a CFL team.

The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team
ToGoGo replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think what's going on is that the "Bills suck and aren't good enough to win the SB" narrative requires fans to dismiss all adversity faced by the team this year. As if both teams came into the game in a vacuum in relatively equal circumstances. Adversity becomes "excuses" when you want to pretend it doesn't exist. Just shocking response by that poster. Shocking. -

The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team

Yeah, my ignore list is filled with those people. Last season was tough, don't get me wrong. It felt like destiny that we were going to overcome all of this and win it all. And then we didn't. The Dolphins game was unexplainably close with a 3rd string QB and then the Bengals game happened. It left everybody confused. "Burning it all down" is the fall-back mechanism for some. They're not tough or realists like they want you to think, they're just "runners". They run when things get tough. Then blow smoke in your face so you don't realize they're quitters. I think we just ran out of juice. The human mind has limits. We overcame most of them last year. And then the hardest one of all hit (Hamlin) and we had a little juice left, but it ran out quick. Compare to the Chiefs. Compare Allen's adversity this year to Mahomes limping on a bum leg in the playoffs while the rest of his team stepped up and defenses left Kelce wide open. One is not like the other. I think people want to compare in a vacuum because it's easy, but it's not easy, and that is why certain people always seem to make money on the stock market and others never seem to. The ability to see these complexities in a simplified way is tough. What happened is clear to me: Bills - Great team that dealt with all-time level adversity and just ran out of gas. Chiefs - Great team that dealt with some adversity and had many lucky breaks. Again, these things balance themselves out. Bills will be luckier next year and the Chiefs and Bengals will be unluckier. And when that happens, you bet on the team that has proven they can overcome adversity again and again. -
The Cincy game & its affect on how we view the team

I think we just need to look at it from 30,000 feet. Pre-season favorite met expectations until mid-way through the season, including beating the Chiefs cleanly and clutchly (word?) in Arrowhead. Coming off the bye Allen gets loose with the football in the red zone, fights through tough injury, Davis gets the yips, adversity after adversity strikes, Von Miller out for the year, team fights and finds ways to win, Hamlin incident happens on top of everything, team still fights to win but games are getting closer, team lays down vs a good Bengals team. What I see is a very good to great football team that had a very unlucky year. Life tends to balance itself out. The following things will probably not happen next year: 1. Weather will not be so severe next year causing games to be moved and concerns about games being cancelled. 2. A player will not nearly die on the field during MNF. 3. Allen will not throw as many red zone interceptions, considering he was historically good at not throwing red zone INTs prior to this year. 4. Gabe Davis will have a better year more in line with his 1st two years and not have the catching yips. 5. Von Miller will likely remain healthy and improve the rest of the D-line through his presence. 6. Allen will likely not fight through a tough arm injury for half the year. 7. The team will not be as dependent on Allen & Diggs. A lot of fans, post-Bengals game, want to argue about the team's ability to deal with adversity. I think it shows that they don't know what they're talking about and are ruled by their impulsive emotions. This team proved extra-terrestrially good at managing adversity. Jordan "Flu Game" type adversity handling. There is just a limit and I think we hit that. I don't think that is a "fan" problem but a "life wisdom" problem. You need to have been the "Man in the Arena" at some point in your life to understand what the limits of will power are, even if you are a winner. Sometimes life just says "NO!" no matter how hard you try. All in divine time, they say. With the above points balancing out, an improved O-line and hopefully RB and WR play, powerful ability to play through adversity when it happens, etc. etc. I think a Super Bowl win is just as likely as ever before. There are negatives we will have to deal with next year that we didn't last year: Edmunds is gone, Diggs is 30, Miller is a year older, salary cap is tighter, division is getting stronger, etc. I just don't think next year's negatives will be as strong as what we dealt with this year. Overall, things will balance themselves out next year. And hopefully Diggs and Allen will be emotionally drained and hugging after a SB win and not after a mid-season Thanksgiving win. That defined the season for me and how impossible it was. We played last season on the "Impossible" level while Mahomes played it on "Kind of Hard". -
I don't think he has enough left in his body for a prove-it deal. This is his last shot at a big deal and teams are rightfully nervous. Beane is doing the right thing by waiting until OBJ realizes the reality of the situation.

Jackson Mahomes Sexual Assault(Update)Arrested

Whatever. Typical Chippewa sh*t. -
When you detach yourself from the outcome. Allen better be studying the Tao this off-season.

I thought it was an absolute disaster. What boggles my mind is that they didn't cancel when they found out she was going to be 4 months pregnant or even worse, she planned and timed her pregnancy for the SB to be some stupid feminist stunt. Absolute trash performance. Embarrassing for the country. Give us entertainment, not indoctrination.

Why not?

If the Chiefs lose again, aren't they just the Bills if Norwood would've made the kick?

Saffold said guys were "exhausted" this week and "out of gas"

I paid $100 for a jersey. ENTERTAIN ME!!! NO EXCUSES!!! Lots of embarrassing and ignorant people in this thread. Making this all about themselves. Once in a lifetime adversity year. This team is tougher than 99.9% of you. Ever watch those hydraulic press videos. Everything has a pressure point before it breaks. Including most of the melonheads in this thread. SICK OF THE EXCUSES!!! FIRE SOMEBODY!! -
Only so much heart and willpower can do. It just wasn't our time this year. Only those that have truly been in the arena in their given fields will understand. That said, changes need to be made on the O-line and the WR room. Time to put less money in the defense and more on the offense. It's not 2017 anymore. We won't be so unlucky next year, simply because that's how pendulums swing. I know it's hard because we all believed this was our year, including the entire organization. We battled beyond what is ordinary. But it all came to a scratching halt. Winners don't fail. They only have temporary setbacks. Listen to Von when he speaks. Next year will our year.
