  1. That's what I use for meatloaf. It's a great binder and absorbs a lot of juices (rather than escaping) which helps keep the meat mixture moist.
  2. To further my point about Bison is its lean nature will make the burgers dry. One of my secrets when working with Bison burgers is mixing bone marrow in with the meat . Look for beef marrow bones. Every grocery store or butcher will have them. Roast off the bones, let them cool, and then pluck out the marrow. The bone marrow will literally melt into the meat when you grill them. Pure decadence! Bone marrow adds TONS of complementary beef flavor and needed fat/moisture/juicyness to a Bison burger.
  3. I like my burgers simple. Ground beef, finely diced white onion, LOTS of worcestershire, salt, pepper all gently mixed together into 1/4 pound patties. Personally, I associate fillers such as breadcrumbs to ground meat as meatloaf and to a lesser extent meatballs. The redwine vinegar, mollasses and honey scares me. Sort of reminds of a Carolina BBQ twist to burgers. Bison by itself is bit too lean for my taste. It needs help.
  4. Buttered spaghetti, fettuccine or tagliatelle with Parmigiano- Reggiano that is shaved with a vegetable peeler on top.
  5. Our offense, scheme, play calling and MOST OF ALL passing system resembled nothing of the Rams or Chicago. Just because they hired a nobody within the Rams organization doesn't make it they they tried to replicate Martz system. Martz system is an intermediate passing game that takes time to develop. It was non-existent in the Jauron era. It didn't exist because the quarterback couldn't make those throws so those type of plays weren't called. It was either dink and dunk or a fly route to evans. The majority of the pass calls were under 10 yards. How often did you see Trent Edwards throw the ball past 10 yards? Our passing system was as conservative as you can get in the Jauron Era. Totally opposite of the Martz system which is down field.
  6. The offensive scheme under Jauron I would LEAST categorize as a Mike Martz style offense. Not accurate at all.
  7. Moorman hasn't been very good at pinning punts within 20 let alone the 10 or 5 in years. I agree with you here. If another punter comes and can show he has the ability to place punts correctly within the 20 (better yet 10) consistently then this alone is worth replacing Moorman on. I don't see this as a decline in the league. It's actually one of things I notice when I watch other games (usually the 4 o'clock ones) how the punter can do it 2 or 3 times in a single game.
  8. Moorman has been an average punter overall the last few years but below average in the very important punting categories (inside the 5, 10, 20). So yes, Moorman is replaceable.
  9. I don't mind this move at all. It's just a one year contract. Low risk, potential high reward if Fitz gets hurt. Go Bills!
  10. IMO Lawrie will be in the top 3 players in baseball in a few years. He can hit for average, power, he can salvage infield hits during slumps, steal bases and his defense has been superb so far this season. His speed is so deceiving and has tremendous hustle (perhaps the best in the game right now). Here is an interesting read on his defense so far this 2012 season. Like you said this is a brand new position for him than what he played throughout the minor league systems. http://sports.nationalpost.com/2012/05/08/blue-jays-lawrie-lead-the-majors-in-saving-runs/
  11. Not starting pitching but categorized as a relief pitcher not only the best pitcher of his era put the best relief pitcher of all time. Keep in mind most quality relief pitchers fade out in a couple of years. This makes his dominance even more impressive. I'd put him up their within the greatest Yankee players of all time.
  12. Love the swagger these highly touted young guys bring to the team. Favorite player in baseball is Brett Lawrie. Two very similar players of equal ceilings. Go Jays!
  13. Graham your undersized Wr won't be utilized as a KR according to Gailey (read special teams). So where does he fit with special teams?
  14. Gilmore - . Will be playing the nickle package at the very least. Could be starting CB day#1. Glenn - Definitely not playing special teams. Graham - Gailey said they are focusing him with WR NOT at special teams in training camp. Bradham - ??? The only guy I see playing special teams and making an impact is Brooks. Can he magically pin punts kicked in the endzone within the 5 yard line?
  15. Our Steve Smith/Percy Harvin lite. He can be useful in the short passing game that Chan likes to use and also along the sideline, capable of stretching the field with his speed. He's versatile. I'd actually use him the majority in the slot, use motion, spread offense as a Wes Welker type.
  16. Well, Ralph got his "runner".
  17. When they showed highlights of this guy I couldn't believe he was listed as pass rusher. This is one of the skinniest DE/LB's I have ever seen. My first reaction was OMG that guy is skinnier than Aaron Maybin.
  18. This is what people say every draft about New England and then when you look back at their drafts the Cheatriots drafts they end up average at best. This has been especially the trend the last 4 or 5 years.
  19. Adding a day 1 starter to our secondary is a great thing. Nix is thinking a head of all us. One year from now our secondary will be depleted. McGee is old, McKelvins contract is done, Florence is basically just a depth guy. I'm glad we didn't go for Floyd at 10 (I HATE picking ND players that high). Wannstedt has a lot of toys to play with now. We have the capability to produce a punishing defense. With Dave at the helm he will induce that mentality. I wouldn't mind a WR, LB or OL at #2. The rest of the draft we have the opportunity to fill lots of depth which we lacked last year.
  20. While doing a background check on Lee Evans, Mike Mularkey came across a google search and found out how Lee Evans had significantly altered the entire dynamic of the Pittsburg/Ravens rivalry. I just had to have him Mularkey said... "I knew he was an excellent decoy, but a division changer...wow!"
  21. I have no idea. The show aired in 2004 and was only on for one season. This show was a hidden gem. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Assistant_%28TV_series%29
  22. I learned to appreciate Andy Dick after the TV show "The Assistant". It was pure comedic genius.
  23. Am I the only one that doesn't like to draft ND players top ten? I don't really like the ND program, vastly overhyped and overrated IMO. Taking players from ND seems to be high risk IMO.
  24. I agree with you. It wouldn't surprise me at all if we trade down. I'd like to get a LT at 10 but I'm not to fond of picking receivers that high. I'd rather trade down if he is going to go on a WR and address that in the late 1st or 2nd round.
