  1. You must have not been following Stevie Johnson's, Merriman's etc twitter page....he's on record wanting him.
  2. We are hearing a lot of banter about Nix et al. being interested in Vincent Jackson. Obviously there are players tweeting about wanting him (Stevie, Merriman, Florence). So what other teams are rumoured about acquiring his services?
  3. Not shocking at all when you consider the consumer group - iSheep.
  4. A fool and his money are soon parted.... It's probably the same consumer that carries Beats by Dr. Dre or Bose QC around his neck at all times.
  5. According to some reports about the local (Buffalo) sports broadcast on TV....
  6. Shawne Merriman tweeting "Got em Coach" Hopefully you are convincing Vincent Jackson in negotiating with Buffalo.
  7. I put a Canadian postal code in and it was more for shipping than the actual price of the Jersey which killed the deal for me. This might not even include brokerage, duty, etc which could raise the cost even more. They would probably charge hundreds of dollars to ship it to australia. Then you would be hit with VAT on top of that.
  8. It's looking like VJ will hit the FA market. This is my #1 free-agent for the Bills realistically. Adding him to our offense would be so dynamic and would complement our offense so well. We would be basically set going forward with our offense. Signing a guy like VJ, we could definitely just focus on DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE in the draft, stockpiling young players for Wansteedt to fix our defense.
  9. Now would be optimal time to pick up a jersey, especially if you are a Johnson fan. $39.99 for a home/away replica jersey is a good deal... http://www.shopthebills.com/new-buffalo-bills-uniforms/2011-NFL-jerseys/Home-Buffalo-Bills-Jerseys.aspx http://www.shopthebills.com/new-buffalo-bills-uniforms/2011-NFL-jerseys/Away-Buffalo-Bills-Jerseys.aspx GO BILLS!
  10. During the NFC championship I had a hunch they were purposely trying to injure Brett Farve. Greggo boy, you better hope there wasn't any players that have had evolving symptoms from an injury dished out by a Saints player in your tenure. You will be getting sued boy.
  11. Touchdowns??? Before setting our expectations too high, how about he catches 5 passes first.
  12. Yeah! With Ward setting up legal picks for T.O underneath and Evans drawing coverage away from Moss over top. Superbowl bound!
  13. You guys got to think outside the box on this one. Signing Lee Evans would change the entire dynamic of the AFC East. It's a no-brainer what to do here.
  14. Nix doesn't like giving away picks trading up for the 2nd pick of the draft. He then said we have 9 draft picks this year and would like 10?
  15. The Patriots will draft this guy somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd round.
  16. Definitely! They could have made the playoffs IMO if he didn't get injured. He was playing 2nd tier quarterback in the NFL. Well beyond backup status. If I were the Raiders, he would be my starting quarterback over Carson "give up two first round picks" Palmer. The Raiders FO really botched that one.
  17. Not a better option than Tyler Thigpen. About par. Not worth looking into Quinn. Why replace one crappy backup with another?
  18. Chan was asked this in a post game interview. Stated it was not the case. The substance that he took over was just media speculation.
  19. Hopefully we can expect smashmouth football from our front 4. His defensive schemes start with them making plays. I wouldn't even be surprised if we go DE first round.
  20. It's mostly personnel why the 34 scheme didn't work and I think he mentioned less substitions as most offensive sets are wr heavy in the NFL today. The linebacker mismatch was most obvious last year. They got picked on every week, no matter a rb, te or wr. It's certainly our biggest need.
  21. My guesses in pecking order - LB, DE, WR, CB, OL
  22. There are 5 "best player in draft" positions that they are after for their first round selection. What those positions are he didn't say (but we can guess) nor the pecking order. I like the fact that I got the impression that the Stache, Gailey and Nix all seem to be on the same page about what they want to do.
  23. Wansteedt believes the 43 is going to be better for our young defensive guys like Sheppard, Searcy and Dareus and how NFL offenses are evolving in general. His background is obviously a "43 guy". He was talking about how 3wr sets were the most common in the NFL. His 43 will simplify things for personnel, minimizing mismatches. One mismatch he talked about were linebackers in coverage getting matched to a WR.
