Jags owner questions fans
BuffaloBillsForever replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or perhaps the real question to ask the owner is why should we spend money on a bad product? -
Tebow TD should have been called back!
BuffaloBillsForever replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not a Tebow lover or hater. I just try to understand football. The title of your thread shows your bias. Your bitter that you are wrong about the outcome of the game. Out of all the blown or missed calls this year by the refs (the Bills or otherwise) to claim foul on this is most lame. It is really the most insignificant of all the questionable referring in that game. -
Tebow TD should have been called back!
BuffaloBillsForever replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not really concerning. This is nitpicking to the nth degree about the officiating. Sometimes you get these calls, other times you don't and they are missed. You must be one of those people that thought Denver didn't have a chance this game because of Tebow and now your bitter? The bigger issue with calls in this game was the backwards pass that can't be ruled a fumble after review. Now that's a travesty! -
That's a horrible and unispiring hire. I thought they wanted to get rid of conservative offensive playing? Jets fans can't be to happy about this. They will run him out of town like they did Shotty.

I gauge a punter at how well he can pin his punts within the 10 yard line than anything else and from watching Bills games I think Moorman is awful in this regards. He even has problems pinning his punts within the 20 yard line. He is the touchback king! This is just from watching the games and comparing him to punters from watching games around the NFL. Any stats guys on this? I say Moorman is definitely replaceable because he doesn't help us in the field position that much.

Who thinks Denver can beat NE?
BuffaloBillsForever replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing that is different about playing NE VS Pitt is the offense. Pittsburgh offense is dreadful, New England on the other hand...this game will be an uphill battle for the Broncos, but I hope they beat them. I won't claim victory for the Broncos like in this thread the week before the game. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/140667-who-thinks-denver-can-beat-pittsburgh-this-week/ -
That game wasn't luck. The coaches finally let him throw the ball in 1st, 2nd and 3rd down situations all game and he succeded. I'll give him credit. He took shots down field and the coaches even added in a quick passing game. He still needs to work on his accuracy though. That can be fixed with coaching and experience. Last game was only the 1st step to the evolution of what you can do with a Tim Tebow. I bet in the offseason they really work on the passing game because this game showed how deadly it can become.

What can we learn from the Broncos?
BuffaloBillsForever replied to covac23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What we can learn from the Broncos is how important a pass rush is to a successful defense. A pass rushing, playmaking LB is where we need to go in the draft this year. -
The Steelers have not really played consistently all year. They put up a lot of stinkers all year especially on the offensive side of the ball. I thought Denver matched up so well that I couldn't believe the odds Vegas was paying out earlier in the week. Like I said earlier in this thread, Denver REVELS in these types of games because they could keep the scoring down. When I heard on the radio that Vegas was giving 10-1 odds early in the week from Colin Cowherd I thought that was REALLY high. I don't think the outcome has anything to do with injuries. They out coached the Steelers. DENVER FINALLY OPENED UP THE PLAYBOOK FOR THIS GUY. Steelers thought Tebow couldn't make the throws, they adjusting their offensive gameplan and HE DID! Denver completely adjusted their strategy with a quick passing game and mixing it in with the deep passing game because the safteys where playing little over the DB. The Steelers where crowding the box with man to man coverage on the outside. The safeties where playing VERY AGGRESSIVE in the run game. Next week against New England might be a different story for Denver however.

Deion Branch and Lee Evans
BuffaloBillsForever replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can tell when Buddy Nix was describing Lee Evans as a football player he didn't think too highly of him at the current stage in his career and you know what? Buddy Nix was absolutely correct. I don't think there is any way he would bring him back and there is really nothing that he would add. His one trick pony and being effective on that one route is all but gone. -
Norv and AJ survive in San Diego
BuffaloBillsForever replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Norv is liking many coaching failures. Horrible head coach but a great coordinator. He should not have gotten that contract extension a few years ago and surprised to see he didn't get canned. With the talent on that team and playing in such a week division, the Chargers have severly underperformed under his healm. Remember the Chargers FIRED Shotty after a 14-2 season. -
The media isn't giving Denver any chance this week and by how their offense mainly Tebow has been playing it's hard to think otherwise, but I think this game will be a tight game with Denver pulling it out in the end. I think Denver's D matches up well to Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh has struggled offensively at times throughout the season putting up points. I think the Denver's defense will have a point to prove and can keep them in this game with the momentum changing with some special teams or a long run by McGahee to spring open the game in the 4th and win by a field goal! I wouldn't be surprised if this is a very boring game to watch.
