  1. There's some QBs that are great no matter what. There's more QBs that are either good or bad depending on coaching and surrounding talent. There's some QBs that are (NFL)bad no matter what. I feel like a lot of fans think every QB is either A or C, but the reality is, most QBs are B.
  2. Indeed there are differences, but without a stud QB, it's a lot more difficult to make assumptions about our success.
  3. Wow, haven't checked in here a while. I see that axe is still getting plenty of attention.
  4. No she didn't, but it was also significantly safer for her than the battlefield after she saw the losses Stannis took on.
  5. Non book reader here, thoughts: - It's interesting that they left some ambiguity for Stannis, considering how brutal deaths are on this series. The fact that it happens off screen makes me think she rethought as she swung and just swung it near him or something. - With how long they lingered on Jon Snow, and the fact that Melisandre is skulking around, I could see him coming back... but also kinda curious if the lingering was just to show how much blood is there, and she seems to like her fancy blood, and Snow being questionably important, maybe she just wants his blood for.... stuff. - I was wondering when the Mountain would come back, considering how they teased him surviving a couple times - The ladies of Dorne are brutal... I'm now expecting a Mountain vs Dorne story of some sort after the baby Lannister was poisoned - With dragon glass being lost, and Snow being killed (and there not being much in the way of "Valyrian Steel", seems to me the forgotten Stark kids, and/or the Dragons are the only "hope" against the White Walkers... - Speaking of hope, I assume all hope is lost every episode. To me it seems like a series where only bad things can happen, until maybe the very end. But, even then... I'm kind of expecting the ending of the story to be totally miserable. - Did Sansa and "Reek" commit suicide because they didn't want to be tortured by the Boltons? Or did they jump into a particularly soft snow pile? - Arya's turn was pretty cool, but I'm kinda disappointed she was punished for it. Even so, her story is interesting. - Uh what else... on the mother of dragons... I've basically lost interest in her. Cool, she has a dragon and all, but basically no personality, and always makes really dumb decisions, it seems.
  6. He's being his usual self.
  7. This is a big reason why I'm very cautious in my optimism for this season.
  8. While I don't think Lawson will be cut, he very well could be a cap casualty if we go after a certain recently cut OL.
  9. No matter who wins, I'll be cheering them on come Sunday. I hope for the franchise's sake it's either EJ or Tyrod... so this is promising. That all being said... it's OTAs... doesn't tell us too much.
  10. The Pats being the Pats, the Jets getting better, and supposedly, the Phins getting better... I'm not making any bets. The AFC East is going to be a tough division, and I could see us being anywhere from 6-10 to 12-4.
  11. The only way to the Superbowl is through the playoffs, and then it's "any given Sunday".... I'll take 7-8-1 and playoffs, even if it's not ideal. Edit: Hm, didn't see that it's guaranteed that they lose in the first round with said birth. God dammit.
  12. I can't help but be excited, but at the same time have that sinking feeling in my gut that I've been here way too many times. Either way, I enjoy the season, I wish we played 18+ games.
  13. Sounds like the usual mix... glad to hear a couple promising plays from a QB... hopefully one of them will "click" and separate from the pack.
  14. I really hope Castle is a full on killer in the show. He needs to be a bad guy, who kills bad guys, and butts heads with heroes like Daredevil and Captain America.
  15. Playoffs > No Playoffs But that being said, #2 sounds better for the long run.
  16. I'm admittedly incredibly ignorant when it comes to blocking schemes
  17. Bring him back! I'll just choose to ignore the trouble.
  18. I will never understand how our blocking became so terrible under Marrone... it wasn't amazing with Chan, but at least we had running room, and Fitz had enough time to get a pass off (even if it was ill advised)
  19. Ideological differences aside, pretty much every developed nation and their head of state understands that a modern large scale conflict between developed nations would end up in catastrophe for the world at large. Hence why we basically only fight developing nations, or limited tech terrorist groups. There's too much to lose for the US, Russia, China, etc to get involved in wars among each other.
  20. Zone blocking is what Chan implemented, right?
