Having creeping doubt =/= thinking the Bills suck For example, I'm concerned about QB, OL, and Rex's consistency as a coach, so I'm uneasy in crowning them a playoff team until I'm shown more (hard to do until the season starts). Do I think the Bills suck? Absolutely not. Do I think the Bills are good? I'm not sure yet! Do I think we have potential to be damned good? Hell yes. Do I also think we have potential to be a disappointment? Very much so. In the end, I'm hella excited to find out, though

Hopefully we can get Nigel locked in on a contract soon, if he has a breakout season, he'll be pretty costly.

Cassel would have to make EJ/Tyrod look like crap for Cassel to start, probably. So we'll likely see a young guy be our QB for the season, and hopefully get some good solid development under their feet. I'm optimistic

Indy went to the playoffs AND improved, we did not got to the playoffs, still don't have a QB, and will be missing our best DL for the game. My expectation is a loss, even if we are an improved team, ourselves.

Concerned? No more than any other staff, really. Ryan has had a few good years, and a few bad years. Which is why he was available. He's coached some good players, and some bad players, no different than anyone else. The question is, did he bring the good pieces to fit with already established ones here? That's what we'll be finding out *shrugs*

EJ and Tyrod weren't much better, but didn't EJ go like 10-11 or something? O.o

Glad to hear our QBs had a better day today, even if it was against the 2nd string D. It's important they get on the same page, get in rhythm, and gain confidence in the system.

Competent = average to me, and I agree.

I hate to read too much into this, but man it really sounds like our offense is going to be rough again this year. Maybe some day we'll get a QB and a competent OL.

But as we've seen in the past, it could also tire our defense out when we go three and out 5 possessions in a row.

It's also possible that different people have different opinions, considering the subjective nature of practices.

So have we decided if EJ is the cause for world hunger yet? Or is it just ebola?

Believe it or not, I agree EJ was bad against Houston... Just not the worst game a QB has ever had.
