  1. Seems more believable than Walmart supporting ISIS.
  2. Ignorant employees doing ignorant things? Because they probably have to work like 3 jobs to pay their bills?
  3. Well that's just dumb.
  4. The mysteries of life. But to be serious, like I said earlier, I don't want everyone to make the same income. I also don't want to see people suffering when we have the resources the available to prevent it. If that makes me a naive idealist, then so be it.
  5. I have it in my subscriptions
  6. Oh St. Doug, it's amazing what's coming out.
  7. I do not know what works, all I can see are the faults of current systems implemented, and results I'd like to see. I do not have solutions to those faults. If I did, I'd be very rich.
  8. There aren't many easy answers, because a lot of the answers lead down incredibly slippery slopes. I certainly don't have them. Some countries seem to work out ok with increased minimum wages, universal healthcare, free college, on the back of higher taxes at the top end... some do not. I'm not sure where the differences lie, nor how all that relates to our situations here. I'm certainly not wanting everyone to earn the same paycheck, that's dumb. But at the same time, it seems ****ty, in a developed country, that a lot of people go without healthcare, and decent education, even when they are working hard. It's not like, on the whole, we're lacking in resources.
  9. Yup, that grey area that most developed nations follow, and sometimes they need to adjust one way or another when certain things aren't working out. I just think it's dumb to point to Greece and say "lulz all socialism sux", that'd be like pointing to Somalia or something and saying capitalism doesn't work.
  10. Or maybe I think there's somewhere in the middle of extremes of free market gross inequality, and full blown socialism, that works best for most developed countries. This idea that all capitalism is bad, or all socialism is bad, is stupid on either side of the argument. There's pros and cons, and the challenge is finding a good middle ground that takes care of the people in the country, as well as provide opportunity for wealth for those that earn it.
  11. All socialism is like Greece. All capitalism is like the top 1% of the USA. Proof that capitalism is ALWAYS better than socialism.
  12. Where were all the anti marriage protests then?
  13. Doesn't matter if Wilson is the best in a vacuum. It matters what the team needs, and the team needs Wilson. He'll get paid.
  14. I really am curious as to how much this manhunt cost taxpayers.
  15. Yes. Because they don't have an equivalent or better available.
  16. No one seemed to have an issue with government recognition of marriage (along with attached benefits) until same sex couples wished to be married as well. Interesting.
  17. I heard Sammy sucks because OBJ, I don't trust this thread.
  18. Reddit/NFL has McCoy not even ranked in the top 10 RBs, if you want a feel for general opinion.
  19. That's basically what I was saying, Hogan is a better every down guy, and I was speaking under the assumption that WRs get hurt, or need to take a few plays off here or there. And Goodwin is better suited for the homerun. I think we're on the same page, I'm not suggesting sitting anyone for Hogan
  20. I support polyamory (multiple consenting adults in a relationship), so I'm not necessarily opposed to the idea of expanding marriage to more than two people, but realistically, and logistically, I think it should be limited to two consenting adults forming said government sponsored contract. There's certain benefits that'd get sloppy, but maybe that'll change in the future.
  21. Right, me saying that Hogan is #4 is just saying that for the WR group, not possession players period. I think he'll prove valuable in certain situations because of his versatility, toughness, hands, and crisp route running, and it's not like he's slow either, he's just not Goodwin. Goodwin has great hands and is fast, but is a bit sloppier on route running, and hasn't proven to be reliably healthy so far (maybe just bad luck, who knows), didn't really intend to turn it into a Goodwin/Hogan debate, just I feel like the top 4 WRs could easily play slot at any given time.
  22. Sammy, Woods, Harvin, and Hogan all work very well from the slot, so there's no reason to just play certain guys in certain spots (and yes, I'm putting Hogan as the #4, with Goodwin being #5 and brought in for homerun situations).
