  1. I'd be utterly unsurprised, just because... NFL.
  2. They'll somehow get Revis back, and the Bills are giving them Gilmore.
  3. Chandler will be TE#2 in NE, at best, he might even end up as #3... the Patriots do a lot more running than they used to... I think this one should go to Clay in all regards.
  4. Pretty much agree with everything. Odds of EJ and Tyrod developing are slim, just because most QBs in general don't develop into high quality starters, but also we have seen inconsistency from both. It'd be in our best interests long term if one of the two do... and if not, we have a fairly good chance of Cassel providing solid enough play to "game manage" us to an effective level, as long as the OL isn't a bunch of turnstyles. It's not like Cassel will go out there and turn the ball over left and right if we have a successful run game, and guys who can get open easily. I think a lot of the drama for the offseason is overstated. We might not have a franchise QB, but with the build up around the QB, and acquiring someone who should be good enough, if neither of our young guys get going, we should be in very good shape... and this is coming from someone who is generally pessimistic.
  5. Can we just merge all the QB/EJ threads in the future?
  6. Annnnd jumping the shark. Ditto. And, if neither of those happen, I'm confident that Cassel can manage the team, as he's done in the past on talented squads. It's nice to have a little bit of a safety net.
  7. The axe to grind is huge, apparently.
  8. He did a hell of a lot of damage before committing suicide. :|
  9. They must have a lot of confidence to be pushing this, and that frightens me.
  10. I don't understand why he's either gotta be the extreme of "best on the team" or "worthless and should be let go"... why can't he just be a change of pace back that gets like 25% of the carries? I'm sure the lesser load will help keep him fresh as well.
  11. I don't really see the point in changing it.
  12. Only when black. I think. I forget the rules of outrage.
  13. 5% THUG is too much THUG.
  14. Oh no doubt. We're going to be hearing about this for a while. #hookahgate Grab the popcorn folks!
  15. What a THUG, I hope Rex releases him immediately!!!!!!!!
  16. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/0ap2000000283521/Goodwin-shows-off-his-speed Remember when Goodwin did something productive, and EJ hit a deep throw? Nah, neither of those things happen.
  17. If Goodwin can stay healthy, he's damned talented. Not sure how to prove that in pre-season though.
  18. I bet it's gonna get totally reversed, and the starting QBs of Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Jacksonville, and Dallas will be suspended for their respective games against the Pats**.
  19. I feel a new poll post coming on!
  20. Kind of why I put a asterik on his name. It seems he wouldn't be expected to start right away, but he has potential to after getting some experience. That could be later this season, or next season, or whatever. Either way, he's in group of 3 or 4 guys who are bubble starters and solid depth. We have a very "solid" CB corps, all around.
  21. I have a feeling we're in for some drama... new system for all three of the guys, but Cassel and Tyrod have more experience being exposed to different concepts/offensive systems, so it'd be reasonable to expect them to pick up faster. It's gonna be a mess if EJ shows even the slightest struggle right away
  22. I don't think Hogan is more talented than Goodwin, just to be clear. But I could see him making it over someone like Goodwin because he's more reliable, and we already have a boat load of weapons on the team. IMO, it's always good to have big play makers, but also good to have a couple reliable solid guys to fill in the gaps so to speak. Goodwin is high risk (due to injury problems) but high reward. I hope he can prove to stay healthy because he's got amazing physical talent, and from the little we've seen he can get open in more ways than running deep routes. But again, Hogan has proven to be reliable, and will do special teams grunt work. I could see it happening either way. And either way I support whomever and hope they kick ass for us.
